Fair warning, Temu didn't track for a few people on the previous deals such as Cashrewards and Topcashback
I personally don't like how Temu overcomplicates things, disqualifies you from any cashback the moment you touch one of their 10 offers and refuses to let you take any new customer offers upon cancellation. Their monetization strategies feel more predatory than a cashgrab mobile game.

    • +2

And the prices on the same products go up once you click one of their fake offer banners. Plus the $40min spend, Temu is pointless, I only want it for cheap trash I don’t want to spend $40

  • +5

Buyer beware: Temu is another one of those predatory gamefied shopping platforms (like 'Wish' before it) that reportedly delivers low-quality garbage with low customer retention and satisfaction for the most part and relies on really scummy tactics to get sales. Not worth it IMO but that's just an opinion

I mean its just another form of aliexpress with less products/different suppliers.

Yep, can confirm, a huge waste of time. Would lure you in by offering free items if you play stupid games and in the end would tell you to (profanity) off.

  • I bought a pair of footy boots from there ~3 years ago. Still going strong after ~100 games/trainings

    • +6

Interesting considering they only launched 2 years ago

      • Time fly's when your having fun :)

      • only 2 years? damn.

when life is just eat, work, footy, repeat then it gets hard to keep track of time.

but 2 seasons of footy I believe.

        • Ozbargain is not your life?

        • If you bought mid season…then two years could be used in 3 seasons!

Ie. say bought in July 21 to July 23….that is season 21,22,23.

Sticky to you guns ; ). Numbers y'oll!

P.S. I bought a few clothing items, bike lights, coffee tools. Was suprised at how good the quality is…

BUT—- my Hat was sewn slightly off shape. Sent a photo and they refunded me immediately..

WHICH THEN——- Invalidates the entire cash back.

SO —- it's riddled with loop holes

Be careful if you order a pillow from Temu.

  • how is it a bargain when you buy literal trash ?

I guess theres gambling addicts using Temu

    • +3

To be fair, there are tons of products on there that are exactly the same as Amazon products which have been marked up, so the prices on Temu could be half that compared to Amazon. And while you could say that it is still crap quality no matter where you get it, some items don't need to be "good quality", they just need to be cheap.

But overall, Temu's scummy tactics really pisses me off.

  • Temu's never been properly tracked on either Cashrewards or Shopback for me. The best I got was calculating, which means not working.

I took the 100% CB offer coupled of days ago and it's tracked for me today.

    • Tracked vs paid..

I bought a few clothing items, bike lights, coffee tools. Was suprised at how good the quality is…

BUT—- my Hat was sewn slightly off shape. Sent a photo for a replacement , but they refunded me immediately..

WHICH THEN——- Invalidates the entire cash back.

SO —- it's riddled with loop holes

      • +1

AFAIK any refunds in an order invalidates the CB for any retailer.

        • Yeah…just a very likely scenario with these types of market places.

Ie. 99% chance you will need to decided between getting a refund on something dodgy in your order …or just leave it.

    • So it took a couple of days for the tracking to come through?

      • +1

Yes, the timing coincides with the order shipped email I got from Temu.

        • Interesting thanks, I got the shipped email this morning but no tracking yet

  • Is it 70% off on single transaction or multiple?
