Why would you want plastic instead of glass?
Glass breaks
Plastic doesn't conduct the heat away, so the hot water stays at the temperature you want.
I ragret getting a ceramic V60 as I have to use more hot water to warm it up first.

Mugen isnt 38. Switch with a beaker is 38. Mugen is a stand alone product

I couldn't really find a nice glass jug on amazon for under $8, so it really depends on what you need/have.
What does this do that the v60 doesn’t? Any good comparison videos I should watch?
Higher extraction due to longer contact time.
It has a ball bearing that blocks the hole at the bottom, and a switch that lifts it to allow the coffee to pass. So like an immersion brewer and then flick the switch to drain it.
It's an interesting idea, but I found ultimately I just preferred the simplicity of a v60.

Yes, pretty much the same thing.
The Switch is generally seen as a slightly nicer design/workflow than the Dripper, otherwise, ultimately they do the same thing.

Little hack for people. Buy the Mugen as well, fits in the switch if you want plastic and not glass.
8 bucks more than this and you get a little beaker too
