            @ely: The offer doesn't appear in the app again until mid week. There's text in the offer that states that now. But you are still able to make a valid spend.

            • @wavesgreen: Thanks - I saw text in the offer that said it would disappear and reappear if eligible but it wasn't explicit (that I noticed) about when that would happen. Flybuys in general seems to have a significant multi day data processing lag that the Woolies one doesn't, with Woolies spend appearing in near real time, wish Coles would sort their tech out here because their offers are better.

                @ely: I have long pushed the theory that is a feature not a bug and just Coles being underhand trying to make people forget to complete their other weeks' spends.

                • @wavesgreen: lol, plausible, but it does fit with their general lag - as a software dev that does a lot of data processing work it's something I think about, it does take a lot longer for things to show up than (I think) it should, but I'm sure there are legacy technical reasons why that's the case. There might also be some business reasons (like your theory) that mean fixing it gets deprioritised though…
