Spend Target Amount in 1 Transaction for 4 Consecutive Weeks at Coles, Get 10000/20000 Flybuys Points or $50/$100 off @ Flybuys

960

Been a while since I got a decent one of these, first week is 5 - 14/7. There are 2 tiers, the higher reward needing a higher spend each week.

Hopefully there are some achievable targets for some of you, mine is quite high compared to what some people report ($290 for the higher offer).

    No offer in my account.

  • 10000 points 4 x $80
    Stack with 2000/$60 exp tomorrow
    2000/$60 start tomorrow

Had 10000 offer each month this year.

    Best offer on EDR 2000/$120

  • damn none of this for me

  • +1

    I have:

    • 8,500 points when you spend $30 a week for 5 weeks on baby products
    • 10,000 points when you spend $70 a week for 4 weeks
    • 2,000 points on $90 spend

    Do these offers typically stack??

    • +1

      Yes stackable

    • I got the baby one too - but despite meeting the spend for 4 weeks so far - the offer has disappeared from my app.

Don’t’ suppose you have a screenshot of the offer and terms?

      • +1

Yeah ill DM you and try send screen shot.

I called for the same reason and they just say its a glitch in the app and the points will still be honoured.

      • +2

I might be wrong but it seems as long as you made the required purchase in the week then you should be okay. I notice there are times when the promo after the 1st week has passed it will disappear but it will reappear if i made the req purch. Also you will notice the in the docket something like Congratulation just one more week to go etc…so keep the receipts until you received the bonus pts at the end of the promo period.

Flybuys cs is responsive albeit it takes them several days to respond and they can check if your flybuys account indeed received the promo.

  • +2

10K points for $60x4 but last time it was $50x4

    • it will keep on increasing until you skip 1 or 2 of their promos.

      • Yep, plan to skip this one.

        • +4

this is still a good deal for $60. maybe skip if it goes up to $70

  • +3

Nice I got this one $50x4, as well as the previous one. Looks like I'm back in the good books with flybuys after being shut out for months at the beginning of the year.

  • +2

    Got it thanks.
finally 10K points for $60x4 after skipped several $70x4

    • I skipped the last $904, and today I still got a $904, ridiculous.

  • +1

    10k points for $90 x 4 wtf. I don't even shop at Coles

  • +1

    First time being left out.

  • +21

For people not needing to shop at coles - I always use this with a coles metro, top up my opal for the $80 amount, scan flybuys, and it's always counted.

    • Nice hack!

      • -4

        This is standard

    • +1

They will fix it soon just like other loopholes

    • +1

      Anything like this for Melbourne?

  • +1

Was at $60x4 for 10k. Now hiked to $90x4 for 10k. Had this experience before. Didn’t activate it and got down to $50/$60.

    Doing the same again.

    Edit: fot to got

    • Damn how come I skipped the last $904 last month, and this month it still gives me a $904.

  • 10k for 4* $50 spent on 1 card and nothing on my other card

  • $50 * 4 and $70 * 4 despite both used equally frequently for targeted deals

  • 10k for $50 per week for 4 weeks. Not a bad offer.

  • Is it a deal if its weekly? I legitimately get these every week if I don't accept it and monthly if I do.. its so obviously bait to get you to spend a smidge more than the month before.

  • 10,000 points for 4x$70, mah I will pass.

Is it better to Activate it and not shop at Coles, or don't activate it?

Which one leads the best next offer?

    • +1

      I wouldn't activate

  • +1

participated in the $504 last month, now I have $604… wondering if it's worth it to skip this time cause I have approx $90 in rewards dollars that I need to spend

    • +1

Just wait for the next unless you need that much groceries

      • Fair point, think I'll wait :)

  • +2

Was at $50 for 4 weeks Coles have now price jacked me to $70 for 4 weeks they no where they can go.

  • Bye bye EDR and Woolies.

  • Does using gift card or flybuys dollars to pay count towards the spend target amount?

    • +2

      Yes.

      • Thanks.

      • +7

But not if you accept a $10/2000pt deduction at the checkout pulling you below $50 spend

        • +1

Ah, I see. Good to know! Thanks!

  • Nice! Got another of the 4x $50 shops for 10k points. Hopefully there's a few 2k points for $60 or $70 spends thrown in there… a single spend of the higher amount satisfies both bonuses which is always nice.

    • I got the 3200? points for 90 spend and 2000 points for 80 spend overlap last week. But just didn't have anything to buy, stuff I wanted wasn't on special.

The 4 weeks of 50 is much easier for me. (This is the third time that I got this in the last 4-5 month). Just remember to keep an eye on the dates. The first one is 10 days, so from now til next Sunday. I messed up last time and spend 50 on the Friday, then another one Wednesday, not realising they are in the same period. (Normal is 7 days Monday to Sunday)

      • Yeah, I've done that before… even emailed Coles/Flybuys about my $50 spend not registering and being told that first period is 10 days. I admit I was the idiot for not reading properly.

Then there's the time where I activated the promo and thought that it started on the day I activated it… nope. Stupidly spent $70 for no reason.

Just had a 2k points for $80 spend come through that goes from tomorrow till Tues so that'll be this catalogue that I'll need to comb through for the stuff I need.

Usually I'll get stuff like toilet paper, antibacterial wipes, and anything else that can be stocked up to make the spend. But lately, my wife has been adding on things to my shops so I've been hitting the spend target easier. The last 4 weeks of $50 spend I didn't even need to get toilet paper!

    Thanks Coles!
Only started last month with 4 x $50 for 10,000 points. Then got a 10% off.

    This month 1 x $50 for $2,000 points &
    4 x $50 for 10,000 points.

Local Woolworths has become a Metro so I am glad not to shop there anymore. They got rid of the deli.
Coles only marginally further away so happy to take my custom there.

Can also combine with this offer:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/839585

  • +1

4*$50 spend = 10000 points for me. I hate these things but you can use it to your advantage, just don't buy stuff you don't actually need.

  • +1

Mine is $100 in one transaction per week for 4 weeks.
    Hard pass.

  • +2

Keep trying to switch all my shopping to Woolies and they keep reeling me back in with these offers - but i make sure i only spend the $50 and not a $ more! Damn you Flybuys!

  • +1

    4 x $50 for 10,000 points.
    4 x $60 for 10,000 points.

I'll skip $60 one and use $50 Flybuys account.

  • +2

Got it too. I've been getting Coles offers every week for about 5 weeks now while Woolies is sending me 5 x points on odd bunch 🤮 Guess I need to stay out of Woolies for a few years before they start sending me any good boosters. 7 weeks and counting…….

    • +2

Woolies has been getting a bit quiet. They are very unpredictable.

  • +6

Despite shopping at Coles more often than Woolies, I get so many better offers from Flybuys. Everyday Rewards is absolute shite.

    • +5

Yeah only thing good from Everyday Rewards is the occasion free <2000points offer for spending 1¢, etc. Other than that their points per $ spend offers are shockingly low and the app is just riddled with marketing for me to engage and spend on other platforms, insurance, etc, it's ridiculous.

  • +1

    I got
    5 x $50 for 10,000 points.
    1 x $60 for 10,000 points.
    1 x 0
Also one of them has 1,000 for the same spend. So will do one or two of them.

  • Even including the money back from points it's still cheaper to shop at Aldi + a fruit shop like Coco's Annerley

    • +1

There has been a lot of discussion on this. I agree with others who have said that if you shop the half-price specials it's on par. I also use GC's that I get at 10% plus off and for Aldi, I can only get 2% off.

      • Where and how do you get 10% off Coles and Woolworths giftcards consistently?

        • Not consistently but have managed to accumulate through AMEX offers of $10/$15 off $100/$150 Myer/Liquorland where I purchased the Coles Myer GC's ( I have 10 AMEX accounts), specials on Superswap GC,s on SB. I also purchased Celebration cards maybe 18 months ago at 15% off which could be used to buy Coles Myer GC's at Officeworks, and managed to get about $4k of these. Sometimes I would get 10% off Prezee cards. Unfortunately, many of these are not available any more. When something pops up you need to be able to pounce. There have been some good Woolworths GC offers published here recently.

    • +1

Which products specifically are cheaper at Aldi after factoring in the points from Coles? Curious to know.

  • Tried to do my $50 shop online but fell short due to an out of stock item. Anyone know if it's possible for Flybuys customer service to manually tick off a week?

    • Not the week, but keep doing wks 2-4 and they'll fix it after wk4 has been qualified when contacted.

  • +1

Got the individual 2k points for $80 spend last week and the 3200 points for $90 spend this week. Also qualified for the first two weeks for the 10k points from this spend.

Lets see what next week brings.
