I've been eyeing on the new Reolink Home Hub for a while, seems like a nice addition to my Argus security cameras.

Normal price is $199.99. Currently it's discounted by $20, to $179.99 (ends midnight). Found a 5% coupon code online to bring the price further down to $170.99.

The Argus 3 Ultra Kit (Home Hub with 2 x Argus 3 Ultra) also seems decent. Equivalent to getting the Argus 3 Ultra for $96.90 each.

There are other items on sale that end tonight from their flash sale. Not sure how good they are but I guess it's worth checking.

Edit: As per @bdl's comment, the deal expiry countdown has been resetting everyday, which makes it unreliable. I've now removed the expiry date and will mark the deal expired when it's actually expired.

  • SD card for storage only turned me off. :( otherwise would have been a killer unit with M.2 or SATA support.

    • The pro will have sata support

If only the pro was available… Oz gets shafted by majority of businesses its just that sad.

Still yet to be released, so at least .au is not being shafted quite yet…

Just a heads up, that price has been "ending midnight" for the past week or so :) I ordered mine July 8 (there were 27 units left and it was a preorder set to ship on the 24th July) and receiving a shipping notification via Australia post yesterday so should receive it Monday or Tuesday this week.

  • Do you need a home hub if you have a NAS?

Currently run Ubiquiti cameras but I want to swap them all over to PoE Reolink cams in the near future.

    • Depends on the camera, but many support uploading to FTP. They do also store on the local micro-SD card as well of course.
