      Got one of their Samsung phones and the battery has been underwhelming, new battery would be the way to go.

      Probably do not want a 4 year old battery in a "new" phone… or 4 year old tech really. Though having some 3rd party put a knockoff battery in there could be worse in the long run.

      Probably better options out there that don't have Apple branding, at this price. I guess if you're in the ecosystem tho…

      It's ~4 years old, and will probably will get 2-3 more years of iOS updates at least. The next version due out this year will be compatible all the way back to the XR and XS, which was released back in 2018. Generally they keep them updated for about 6 or 7 years.

      Meh, I have the 12 pro max, and it runs essentially the same as my partners 15 pro max. I thought I wanted to upgrade but then did a comparison.. (minus the camera, but I have a dslr to take MUCH better pictures)

    Battery is worse then iPhone SE 2020?

      I have a 13 mini and I love the phone. That said the battery is junk. It is only 7 months old been on 88% health for for 6 months and its usable capacity is under 50%. I could get a whole day of heavy usage when new, now it requires at least two charges. At least 3 times a week it will be charged 3 times per day.

    I'm still rocking my iPhone 12 mini. The camera especially video taking is still top notch and I haven't felt any need to upgrade. I'll be happy to get another three years out of this.
