    Is this a genuine Arpoza?

    • +2

It's actually Arzopa, which is a lot superior!

      • Thanks, I see the OP has now changed the title.

    How to avoid gst ?

    • +9

      Leave Australia.

  • I wanted to like this one but it kept making buzzing noises when connecting and also has coil whine on certain excel sheets with colour.

Do you use a power adapter with it or powering from the device?

Any chance to get a deal like this again?

Likewise, will hopefully wait until this deal comes back.

  • What do people use these for? I mean as opposed to a standard monitor.

    • "Portable". I'm not exactly going to be sticking a standard monitor in my bag.

      • I understand the concept of portable but to plug into what. Are you also carrying a PC in that bag?

Not sure why you'd do this in preference to using a laptop or tablet.

I use one when i am travelling for work and need a second screen for my laptop, and also use it in the lounge hooked up to my PC so i can game on the TV and use the small screen for anything else (sports, youtube etc)

Fair enough, thanks. Was just trying to understand the use cases. Oh course this being ozb, that gets you a neg. LMAO.

        • Depending on your phone, you can also plug that into it for a bigger screen (Samsung runs it like a desktop PC if you plug a mouse and KB in)

    • I use one if I'm travelling with my sff pc.

    • Generally this is great to connect to a laptop and server as a 2nd monitor. I do this often when I go work in a library or on a business trip.

  • Any suggestions on a hard cover for this portable monitor? I've seen the travel bags but was hoping there would be something to protect the screen more when I throw it in my bag.

The tougher notebook protective bags are usually good enough.

    • I have a Belroy tablet sleeve for mine, probably not the best protection, but seems to do the job!

no vesa mounting on the rear is a shame. Always a good option to have for mounting to a camera tripod or similar when travelling.
