If you're after a portable monitor on a budget and don't mind something larger than the usual 14/15.6" offerings, then here's one for a good price at 16". Especially since it has an inbuilt kickstand and supports VESA mounting.

Featuring a 16" IPS display with 1920x1080 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio, 63% sRGB colour gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m² brightness, HDR, HDR, 178° wide viewing angle, dual speakers and weighs around 780g.

There's two USB-C ports for display/power, PD passthrough charging, Mini HDMI and a headphone jack. A Mini HDMI to HDMI cable, 2x USB-C cables and charger are included. While it does include an EU charger you can use any USB charger, PD passthrough or worst case run it off a USB port on your device.

  • Add Plug Type: EU Plug to the cart
  • Apply the coupon AFAU05 or AUFF03 at checkout

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive, extra 1% off with Coins and stacks with cashback.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

  • Far out bought 90 from amazon thought that was cheap

    • +1

They're both good deals. It would be easier to return stuff to Amazon, if thats something that youre willing to do and pay slightly more for.

  • +8

I am not on the market for a portable monitor, I just would like to say thank you for all your posts.

  • +1

Does it qualify for 30% cashback

    • +3

      Yes

  • Can anyone share their thoughts/experience with this monitor? Worth it?

  • +6

Yeah that is pretty cheap, but 63% sRGB coverage is just…..early 2000's LCD level of performance.

    I'd rather pay $30 - $40 more for a model with 100% sRGB coverage.

      But firebat.

    • You never know how many of the ones that claim 100% truly have it. At least we know Firebat are being honest.

    • Any suggestions please based on your personal experience? Using it for work

  • Any feedback on this? Is the colour really dull? Would be using as a PC 3rd monitor (just to throw chat apps like Messenger and Discord on). Thanks

Oh come on man, I'm gonna have a collection of screens FFS.

  • I soooooo want something cheap like this with touch capability for my Home Assistant interfaces.. Yes I know I can get third party touch interfaces but they're not quite what a native implementation gives.

  • need a light?

    • Your goose is getting cooked

  • I bought a 16", 16:10 2880 × 1800 OLED portable monitor for about $400 and… omg I paid $400 😅 good thing it's tax deductible.

It's a great monitor though. No ragrets

    • Would be interested to see a link if you don't mind sharing

      • I can't post links, so search for

        UPERFECT UColor O2 16" 3K OLED Portable Monitor 500Nits 100% DCI-P3 1MS 120Hz Gaming Display w/ HDMI USB-C For Laptop Mini PC PS4]

I paid about $390 including GST by stacking various coupons etc

        • Good specs, but for $400, you could have gotten a dual screen

  • Thank you Op. Managed to get one!

  • +1

Mine comes to AU$80.79 inc GST and delivery at checkout without a code. The 2 codes provided have expired.

  • Can this be used as a photo frame on a counter top without a PC connection?

    • +1

Needs some sort of video input.

      • pendrive?

    • No. This is just a monitor, not a media player.

  • Does it work with phone directly

  • I don't need it but at that price point… man….

  • Is this touchscreen?

    • No.
