David Jones is closing down their electrical section in all stores. I was in David Jones Adelaide and they still had stock of certain models as opposed to the website showing out of stock. They are offering another 30% their all ready discounted prices for iPhone, iPads, Macbooks, etc. And across all brands (even those not mentioned on the sign).

I took a photo of the 2 phones I mentioned in the header- https://ibb.co/nPPcH8m take another 30% off those prices. Shows up on their register.

Run don't walk before they close today as I assume most stock will be cleared out today (if not cleared out by Staff).

    The 15 Pro is the better deal than the 15, as it will be getting the “Apple Intelligence” AI features, if they matter to you.

    A man walked into DJ Sydney CBD yesterday and made a $30k+ transaction. Manager had to stop him from getting more as people are buying to resell. I may have witnessed it tbh, I did see a customer with a stack of Macbooks Pro’s and iPads. Despite that, there was so much left this morning.

    I went there just before closing time last night (so bummed because I was finish work at 8pm). I saw some Macbook Pro’s (many of them) and iPad Air/10th Gen’s. Managed to get some bangers. $556 for iMac 24” M1 8C/7C and $640 for iMac 24” M1 8C/8C. Only two because I only have two hands. Still a few more left (ppl saw me buying and they asked) after I made my txn just before closing. I didn’t know they had Studio as well because someone bought one this morning before I came in).

    Came back this morning before work and took the last iMac.. Much less Macbook Pro’s but they restocked so many iPad Air 5th Gen and iPad 9th Gen (some 10th gen). Around 10 Nintendo Switches left this morning. No iPhones or other major Apple accessories left (Airpods etc).

    Some clearance prices - subtract 30% off the orange stickers.

    So…. did I get a good deal here?

        I think it's all city stores in Australia David Jones.
        So I guess all the states & territory DJ stores with tech department.

        Here in Queensland, Brisbane City DJ is the only store with tech dept (Apple iPhones, Bose, Belkin, Apple MacBooks, iPads, Apple watch, Apple accessories, Sony audio, Bowers&Wilkins audio, Google nest, Apple iMacs and many more)

        Sad to see some people taking advantage and buy alot for reselling purposes. Should leave some inventory for other people to buy.

    Still Macbook Pro left and a Macbook Air other as of 1.32pm. Hurry.

    Been today around 2:00pm at Brisbane Queens Plaza.

    Purchased today last 16 MacBook Pro M2 16GB RAM 1TB SSD with discount cost me 2709 AUD.

    They still had 3-4 14 MacBook Pros M2 and possibly one M3 left.

    No iPhones, didn’t check iPads.

        I’ve seen one on display, but didn’t pay attention if it was still available on shelves, sorry. Tech section is at least half empty but there is some stuff still on shelves, if you have time better check in person.

        Btw some of the stuff is on 40% clearance (the sign didn’t specify exactly what) and I didn’t bother.

        One thing to note. David Jones online chat customer service representative told that there are no MacBook Pros in any David Jones in Australia according to their system including Queens plaza.
        I’ve spent one hour trying to reach tech department via phone but wasn’t lucky so decided to check in person in store and was rewarded to find couple of MacBooks still available.

        So if you have time, better check in person.
