            It will be on par with CR as we're both off the same affiliate network. We've only had amaysim on site for a few weeks, and I can see that it takes around one week for them to move from 'pending' to 'confirmed' which is a lot faster than most merchants. 'Payable' will come after the merchant is invoiced, so 60-75 days is my estimate and maybe even earlier. This of course is provided the SIM is activated within 20 days - they are strict on this term.                 @Quarter Pounder: Unless it was manually approved by CR, I can tell you that's impossible, but kudos to CR if they did as they then wear the risk of the buyer not activating. I work directly with amaysim and I know their procedures :)

                    @Quarter Pounder: I think I’ve worked it out. Unless I’m mistaken, CR likely approved based on the transaction being set to ‘confirmed’ status at network level. This means everything looks right by amaysim as far as the purchase goes, therefore CR’s backend auto-approves the transaction to the member. However if the SIM is later returned, cancelled or not activated, amaysim changes the status to ’declined’ at network level and CR won’t receive any payment, even though you as a member have already cashed out. Again, kudos to CR if they’re prepared to take the risk. Sorry for rambling on, and I hope it makes some sense. All the best, and enjoy the cash :)

                      As another data point I've experienced similar to Quarter Pounder with Amaysim and CR - tracked in under 15 minutes from purchase with the tracking email saying "Estimated approval: Up to 75 days", but it was approved after 7 days and I cashed out immediately :)

        • My last Amaysim sim purchase via CR was on 1/5/2024, and it's still currently Pending status. It says estimated approval date of 15/7/2024 (which is 75 days). So not sure how you guys got yours approved so quickly. Or CR's processes have changed and it can actually take up to 75 days to approve.

          • @Alinnia: Was it this $26 cashback on $15 sim deal? If so, that was because it initially tracked the wrong amount which needed to be manually adjusted by Cashrewards hence the slow approval.

            • @xers: Actuality the opposite. There was a flurry of early orders that tracked at the wrong amount, that CR then went through and corrected, triggering early approval in the process as theorised by TA.

              Then at some point other orders were just being processed normally. Hence the standard 75 days. Mine is also 'Pending' til July.

              • @wavesgreen: Nah all my other orders with Amaysim which tracked automatically were all approved within a week of ordering. The only one that is still pending is this $26 cashback order (which initially tracked at $16.25).

        • @xers Yes, that's the deal that prompted me make the purchase via CR. I don't have any other Amaysim purchases in the last year that I can make make comparisons with unfortunately.

          @tightarse Is the number of days for cashback to get approved for Amaysim, or any merchant actually, displayed on Topcashback's website? Would be useful to see this information prior to purchase.

          @tightarse Think you miunderstood my question or maybe my wording wasn't clear sorry. Is it displayed on the website what the numbers of days for TCB to approve the transaction, ie for the tracking to update from Pending to Confirmed status? I know you mentioned it here on this thread but not every user reads Ozbargain lol. Also wouldn't want to have ping you to ask you about how long it would take for tracking to update to Confirmed status for every different merchant's TCB deal.

      • boost. it took 6 months but finally got it. that being said, topcashback is much, much slower than cashrewards for other merchants too like pizza hut. as long as it gets paid out, all's well, but i wish it didnt take so long

      Hi. Answer to (1) is we don’t. Amaysim knows and they are the ones responsible for approving or declining. Answer to (2) is can’t see why not. We’ve not been given instructions to the contrary. Hope this helps :)

    I just purchased a $10 Sim through the link above. As part of the purchasing process, amaysim sent me a text with a web link l had to click on to validate my request, I had no option but to do it otherwise I couldn’t proceed further on the topcash page to be able to purchase the sim (I have an account with amaysim for previous Sim purchases).
    Is that going to invalidate my topcash claim?

    Relatively new to money-back offers for 1-month-mobile-plans: Boost & Amaysim.

    May be traps are everywhere for novice?

    As you know, 1 month sim-plan are CHURN-sims & is the problem with Amaysim-only ?

    Why ShopBack is stating a more-restrictive criteria for Amaysim?
    ShopBack criteria: 'Cashback is only applicable for customers getting a New Service (SIM) & New Sign Ups (New Customers)'
    CashRewards criteria: 'Eligible for new & existing amaysim customers on purchase of a new service (SIM)' & 'Tips to get cashback…Read store special terms'

    May be Boost won't have a 'blanket-approval' moving-forward, '…they(Telstra) will be adding a further requirement around SIMs remaining active or recharged, but we’re waiting on exact conditions & wording before we add to our Boost page'

    General, Ozbargainers don't keep good record (time-consuming) & tracking system never runs smoothly, hence system-failure help to keep money-back-systems alive.
    Even OzBargainers who providED proof-of-purchases have experienced money-back rejections, ie ShopBack/CashRewards/TopCashBack can't blame tracking/system issues.
