There's been 2 deals recently for 5w30 full synthetic at around the $30 mark, but I think that was a very rare occurrence.
Castrol SL Spec $30.49

Nulon SN Spec $24.30

NB, OP post is a higher spec (SP) than both above
You change your oil every 5000 k's? Thats alot of changes!
Yes, I know it is not necessary but I want to give my engine best protection.
That is what you think 5k or 6 months is what is recommended. The manual intervals is just to keep the car running up to the warranty period most of people drive in harsh condition for the engine daily short trips drive and not taking highways for at least 30 minutes every week without stopping. So yeha unfortunately that is the reality.
If you missed out on the latest 5w30 full synthetic deals this would still be good.
The specs tell the full story not the fact its semi synthetic.
Ive used this before and regardless of the oil - i always change at 7500km
whats (or what would be) your monthly interval if you never hit 7500km?
I do about 20k a year, so its every 4 months approximately that i change it
cAASTROL IS ONE OF THE best right?
