I think this is a good price. Usually 2kg yoghurt is close to $8 in most places in Sydney. Who doesn't use yoghurt? (Sorry Vegans, no pun intended). I like eating it with rice or to make a thick-shake. Get some calcium and energy. Expiry dates on most of them were still faraway, end of July.

unbeatable texture?

No pun present.
Who doesn't use yoghurt?
Adrian
How's the consistency when compared to strained/Greek yoghurt?
I love Chtaura yoghurt for most things, idk what style it is but guessing it is Lebanese style yoghurt?
Then I also buy Greek style yoghurt for other things.
Bekaa is probably somewhere in the middle of both, if it makes any sense. I cant use it for either of my needs and end up disappointed whenever I cannot find Chtaura.
With rice??
Yes with rice, or make youghurt pasta! We grew up with it in our Lebanese heritage household. It is very delicious.
Oh cool, I've just never heard of yoghurt with rice before!
Yogurt soup with fatty meat is the best.
Even better if you can find genuine "jameed" to add to itJameed is a food item that consists of fermented dried yogurt usually made from goat or sheep milk
@easternculture: Jameed for lamb mansaf!! Too good.
@zarz83: Stop it unless you inviting me to some
I’ve replaced cream or sour cream with yoghurt in most recipes: pesto pasta, stroganoff, sweet chilli and yoghurt etc..
Very versatile and it’s great to just use one big tub for smoothies too.Random Fact: In some countries, they use the word "Expired" respectfully for dead people. As in, "My Aunt expired yesterday".
2kg yougurt is now $10+
