    I returned this unit because it does not auto-restart after mains power failure/recovery which also means there is no way to automate or schedule on/off with a smart plug.
    So, unless you plan to leave this unit on 24/7, you'll need to manually use the capacitive touch buttons every time as it does not remember any of your last used settings, for example the fan speed.

          I have this but didn't know it'll auto restart after mains power failure.

            @lawyerz: AUS-1250AZPU retains its settings, so you can use a smart plug and air quality sensor to automate/schedule the on/off.

      Wifi controlled, programmable, relatively cheap generic filters on Amazon too
