    I would say the soundstage is a little more wider and enjoyable, there's also a better frequency response. Google a comparison video of you like, but there's something really enjoyable and crisp about the sound!

Bought R1700BTs on ebay plus $174.00 with $10.00 coupon a few weeks back.

  I have the R1700BTs as well, and got them for a similar price. Very happy with them as desktop speakers.
