I wonder if they will reduce the clearance price at some stage. They seem to have quite a few in stock. I could add 22 to my cart.
Earlier deal expired, so reshared.
a random note for anyone who cares - i brought the 50's of these (need an amp) quite happy with them coming from edifer 3000's
however I needed a sub to take it to the next level. but much better experience IMO.How much did the whole setup cost just out of interest?
I'd go for a similar setup if I had enough room for a chunky AV receiver in my TV unit. These are powered, or you looking to get the receiver to power the amp?
i got the R-50M's (i just checked) I think they go for about $500
the amp is fosi audio for about $100-120ish from ebay from memory
the sub is polk 10" 100w I just googled and seen one for $350 on kogan rn but didn't check the details, I paid 400~ from a catch sale iirc
so all up your looking at about a grand, I cant recall what I paid for the powered s3000 pros I think 800/900. they were amazing but the speaker got a rattle in them from having them cranked for long periods.
I'm not trying to get anyone to jump ship from this deal, just randomly tossed in my experience with the 50s - I think really it comes down to if you have the room for a sub or not, mines under my PC desk, don't see it but holy (profanity) do I feel it - the other speakers I was considering were umm svs prime? i think they were about 1500 bucks and powered, but after reviews I decided to go down this path
Bookshelf speakers always need a sub.
PM's are self-powered. M's are not.

Looks pretty good mate
Did you photo your job? I've always been interested in having a crack at building my own
Finishing isnt so great but you don't really notice in normal light.
So it's intergrated into a small desk as a stand.
Enough power for a house party.
Coupled with Fosi Audio BT20A Pro 48V amp.Properly fantastic! Thanks for the follow-up
nice - did you do a proper cabinet design or just wang them together? WinISD and all that.
Just plugged in the specs to chatGPT a worked out volume litres and port dimensions.

These any good as PC speakers? I currently use a set of Logitech Z623's and have been looking to replace them for quite some time but have been having difficulty finding a suitable replacement.
keep you z623s till they die. klipsch will sound good, but nothing like your z623s. Bass is not comparable at all.
Yup, gotcha. Cheers!
z623's are garbage lol. You can add a sub to any set of speakers if you really want to rattle your fillings loose.
I only have experience with the z2300 which was the predecessor and they were amazing. for the price I don't think anything can touch them.
This vs Yamaha hs8?
Yamaha
Better than the edifier 3000?
been around this price for a while.cheers
