Kef is better. Both are in the same category, 70w speakers, 4" mid. Totally different design, Kef is concentric, Klipsch is horn loaded.
Which is better, audition both before committing.
I had their big brothers for 7 years and upgraded to R3 Meta. I can tell you, even for the movies, the effects came to life. I mean, day and night difference lol
Yes, I ended up paying 3x to get to Kef. Was it worth it, for me, yes, ymmv.
Speaker should be the most expensive stuff in your system as they add the most noise to your music.
Unless you're after a really compact set up, I'd urge you to go for separates instead.
You can get the Klipsch R-50M ($525 at digital cinema) which has the larger driver and an extended bass response, along with an SMSL AD18 ($187 at Amazon) for a total of $712.
The advantage is that it's really easy to upgrade components should your needs change down the line.
Yes,I've had KEF's but currently enjoying a pair of Wharfedale Evo 4.2's.
We're spoiled for choice with the current crop of Bookshelf speakers.This or Kali lp-unf for pc speakers?
