  • Do any cashback sites payout if you use a ebay plus code?

    • topcashack listed codes though

This would be better if you are fine with 64gb. EDIT: No its horrible.

    • +2

The Samsung only has 4GB RAM

  • 10 year old daughter needs a new tablet mainly for her kids games, taking videos and some Netflix while travelling etc. She's currently rocking my old Samsung Galaxy Tab A which is on its last legs.

    Definitely need the 8GB Ram

    • If you don't need SIM support, I think Samsung A9+ 8Gb/128Gb is a better choice. The processor is more powerful, and most likely Samsung will update the software more often and longer than Motorola. At the end of the life cycle, you most likely can get a few $$ by selling the Samsung. Also, it is easier to get cases and screen protector for Samsung.

      • Yep been keeping an eye on that exact model. It's pushing $400 atm so a little on the exxie side.
Also been eyeing off Redmi or Xiaoxin pads on Ali but prefer local stock.

        • Samsung Australia has 2 years warranty. Redmi/Xiaoxin doesn't have any. :(

Thanks to OzBargain, I got a Samsung A9+ 128GB for $299 from JB HiFi last month. Just wait a little, it will come back for sure.

      • Agreed. Samsung A9+ 8GB/128GB is arguably the pick of low budget Android tablets at the moment. It has gone on sale for under $350 many times already, sometimes way under. Not worth going cheaper unless you really have to, partly because this tablet will most probably provide better longevity for basic use cases than budget tablets have historically been able to provide.

  • Is this better than the new M4 iPad Pro announced overnight?

    • +7

      Approximately 2.75 times more M

  • "ultra-sharp" and "1080p" aren't two specs I usually see mentioned together

    • Its just all marketing. Like the new Ultra Retina XDR OLED

  • Is this better for an always on display?
Or is there any better suggestions?

Currently I'm using Fire tab 7' for 4 years straight for continues view of my front door cam. Would like to upgrade.

  • Just for anyone considering this deal, Lenovo P11s are regularly available in the low $200 on AliExpress, if you don't mind rolling the dice with warranty etc.

  • how's this compare to the lenovo m10 plus 3rd gen

    • More RAM
      Faster/newer processor
      Tab-Pen included

This kicks its butt, the screen and speakers which are excellent on the M10 plus 3rd gen are very similar according to a review I read.

This will have software/security update support for longer too.

      • Did you buy?

  • I bought this from the Afterpay sale. Lots to like about the tablet and I use it daily in my train commute. But …., it's a little laggy at times especially when switching apps, so be warned. That's my only complaint, otherwise it represents great value. Kids love drawing with the pen. The pen is quite responsive.

    • Did u get the 4g ram job? I havent opened mine yet. Might sell and upgrade to an 8g

      • 8gb. Same model as the one advertised here
