Are these actually "Esky"? Esky is a brand. These actually appear to be no-brand ones, so the quality may be questionable.

    • agree… also only says insulated body, no mention of the lid… if the lid is not insulated too then they will not keep things cold for that long.

    • that would be a bit misleading… am tempted to neg this as i'm pretty sure at that price, you wouldn't even be able to buy the smallest genuine Esky from retail.

      like those china made "swarovskis"

      • yep sorry i dont see any "esky's" here like in the description so not a deal to me.

obviously a dodgy website if its stealing a well known brand name to sell/profit themselves.

  • how big is 42L?

A standard bucket is 10 litres.
Keep in mind that high cool boxes (as opposed to be elongated flat ones) are a pain to fit into the boot of your car.

      • unless you drive somewhat of an offroader/hatchback where you could just flip down the 'tailgate' and drag it out.

      • that is a better idea…Thanks

    That's not a deal.

This is (ok, was) a deal:

    • thats CHEAP!

    • Yeah these things are much cheaper stateside.. a bit sad when even Oz branded stuff is cheaper overseas than local.

  • Not Esky. Cheap chinese knock-offs. Will soon get brittle and crack.

If you are going to buy a large esky, I suggest getting one with wheels on it. So much easier to transport!

  • Really depends what you use it for. If its for 3 day camping trips of course anything at this price point will fail but if its for a Sunday BBQ it will do the job. I have a cheap box that cannot hold ice for 24 hours and another where the ice will last 5 days and I still use the cheaper, lighter box for BBQ's because it does the job.

  • Seems like a good deal to me
