Do we need to sign a naan discloser agreement before buying these?

    • This is good work right here

  • Batata Vada anymore is a shame (spicey potato balls), they were cheap too when half price ($2.62 or something).

Since last 2 days on Ozbargain, I am not eating made in India (this post), I am not buying made in China (MG Excite deal), and I am not buying Nazi car (Tesla deal today) - Jeez, tough crowd!

        • @Username Taken: Bro you comparing $10 food with $25000 car. We do not entertain discrimination with food.

Only someone who's got the mental capacity of a Nepalese squirrel will think all reels and YouTube videos is how the whole of a certain country is.
Maybe travel and see a bit more of the world and then be a judge…but travelling needs money ergo work or business ergo not having bottom of the barrel brain like yours mate 😂

No what you have is racist and non-existent thinking capacity

@dealt: Neg and insult me all you want but this brand, among others, is banned in the US, deemed to be unfit for human consumption, due to high levels of pesticide and bacteria. Delicious.

@nepalesesquirrel: Got a link? Obviously these type of fried products aren't healthy at all, but people still put it into their bodies.
seems like FDA Rejections, Not Bans:

While Haldiram's products have been rejected by the FDA for import into the USA due to concerns regarding pesticide levels and other food safety issues, they are not banned

              • @nepalesesquirrel: Stop spreading misinformation! The year is 2025, Haldirams Kanpur was briefly banned in 2015 due to said reports but then Haldirams Delhi & Kolkata carried all the exports. Source- same as yours.

Haldirams is widely available in all parts of the United States at all retailers including Walmart, Costco and (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Haldirams&ref=nav_bb_sb)

PS - You are being negged and insulted for a reason and you are that reason

            • @dealt: @dealt : I love the statement, I remember they say - It's hard to get houses stolen in Nepal because they guard everything free of charge - Gurkhas.
Very sad ozbargain should deactivate such people for good.

  • Beware!
Haldirams is much better in taste and quality than Haldirams Nagpur. Don't know why

Are any of these actually good?
I have tried so many different indian curries/meals/naans/paratha/samosa from the supermarkets and im struggling to remember any of them being good enough to want to buy ever again.

I tried garlic naan recently and was impressed. And the samosas are okay but not like fresh of course.

@lordezekiel : Best Brand for sure. Make sure you have airfrier & you can make it more healthier

  • The roti any good? I know if had a dud brand from Coles before but not sure which it was.

    • Sorry no experience with this brand but had tried another brand (cant remember which one). It was more like a paratha as they had to use oil to stop it from sticking to the plastic sheets. It was edible though.

    • @Damannation: Please go ahead with this as best brand for all items including spinach pakora & onion bhaji too

  • Any chances during the cyclone Alfred?

    • Worried about cyclone in your stomach after eating these, eh? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • +3

Aussies stock up on plenty of toilet paper so should be ok.
