    Repurchased a supplement I bought a few months back. Noticed the price is quite higher. Price is almost $2 higher than my initial purchase even after the discount code..

      Yeah the Aussie tax is fully applied now and they're jacking prices way more on everything I used to buy. As soon as we see a new player to disrupt, I'll never buy from these guys again. The market is ripe for the next iHerb. Also pays to check local prices as some of the discount pharmacies have actually been cheaper, which almost never happened previously.

      I have always paid in AUD with no transaction fees.

        Lucky you, visa and mastercard and as a result the financial institution often charge an intl tx fee if you pay in aud if the transaction is processed outside Australia.

        You get slugged a crap conversion rate from usd to aud and you cop the tx fee on the aud amount too.

        If you only have this as an option usually better in these cases to pay in usd.

          That's dynamic conversion fees, not all banks do it, only certain.

            @abs898: Yes the transaction is done through dynamic conversion and incurrs costs but the international transaction fee is also charged on top of the transaction that has been dynamically converted to aud.

            If you choose to pay in Australian dollars at the point of sale or online when the merchant, or the financial institution or entity processing the transaction, is located overseas, the transaction amount is converted by the merchant through Dynamic Currency Conversion*.

            Any additional costs imposed by merchants are charged on top of any standard international transaction fees charged by CommBank.

            You end up getting a poor exchange rate, and then slugged the intl tx fee as a % on top of the aud amount on top of it.

              @dazza826: I just checked my old orders, all done on Amex and that's probs why I was never charged a dynamic conversion. My HSBC Visa charges it.

                @abs898: That explains it re : Amex and dcc.

                Not sure how much the dcc fee ends up being for the end user on each transaction when using Visa or Mastercard.

                Visa/Mastercard charge, then merchants payment processor charges, then the merchant could also add charges then your bank might add a charge too and you pay it all.

                Couple that with bad exchange rate to begin with then the intl tx fee as a % of the already converted aud amount on top it can add up.

                  @dazza826: I read through my HSBC PDS, it's 3% for me. So it's either International conversion fees or DCC that gets charged, not both.

                  I use my amex everywhere, domestic and internationally even with the 3% fees, but their exchange rate is much better than Visa oR MC

    Is the website appearing in Chinese for any of you guys? I clicked on the link and it is mostly in Chinese . I am not using any vpn nor can I read chinese, this is odd

    Thorne is not excluded! Strong recommend to use this for a prenatal and breastfeeding. Imo it is a contributing factor to the successes my child is having in early life.
