Hi Ozbargainers,

Our most popular product of 2022, 2023 and 2024 was overall the Hayfexo product (Fexofenadine Hydrochloride). The tremendous sales of the item (tens of thousands of boxes) have allowed our good supplier to hold pricing for us on this product for many years, allowing me in turn to also hold pricing. I've ran many posts for Hayfexo over the years but when scrolling back over my expired posts, I see that the 100x Hayfexo deal became inactive at some point when it ran out of stock and was pushed to the Ozbargain sidelines. Sales of Hayfexo have dwindled in recent months as Cetirizine has risen in the ranks of hayfever relief (Cetirizine deals also linked below), so to help maintain volume of Hayfexo sales I thought I'd give this old favourite amongst Ozbargainers another shout out tonight.

Item: 100x Hayfexo 180mg (Fexofenadine Hydrochloride)
Price: $19.99 (after code)
Code: take5

Exp: Early 2026 on the 30x pack, Mid 2026 on the 70x pack

For those looking for Cetirizine or Loratadine, these deals are still running:

  • Is this like Hydroxychloroquine

    • Because the big words sound/look similar?

      • Username checks out though.

  • Is this an alternative to Claratyne? I get the itchies (and mild eczema) all the time and gets puffy eyes. I take 1 claratyne and it usually helps me 4 to 5 days. Is this a good alternative?

    • Someone else will know more but looks like Loratadine 10mg is the Claratyne alternative. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/837337 ive just ordered these as my wife and son go through one everyday, hopefully these work just as well.

Would be interested to know what people think of these ones compared to Loratadine.

      • I've ordered some of these too. Have used the Trust Loratadine for the past few years (when I'm unfortunate enough to visit anyone with cats), and it's worked well. Hopefully these Dr Reddys ones are just as good.

    • Hey — yes similar, but different people respond better to different anti-histamines, so worth trying the big three (Telfast, Zyrtec, Claratyne — I forget their generic names) to see what works best for you. For me it's this one (Telfast).

Also — people used to recommend "cycling" different anti-histamines from year to year, but lately that's been shown to be unnecessary. The point is that different people respond better to different products to begin with :-)

      • Telfast may be Fexo - https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/60981/telfast-hayfev… - in which case why pay 50c/tablet ($35 for 70) for the same thing when you can pay 20c/tablet ($20 for 100) for this deal here now

        • Sorry I wasn't clear — I only buy generic fexofenadine, not Telfast (but yes, they're the same thing). I was just using the common brand names because that's what most people refer to, and I forget the generic names of the others.

    • I had similar symptoms btw my immunologist recommended ryaltris and some creams that are okay to use near eyes such as aveeno dermexa cream and from those I got better relief of symptoms VS telfast/claratyne. These things vary person to person though, so do what works best for you

  • +1

@jason101, I ordered "Hayfever Relief Trio Sampler; Fexofenadine 180mg, Cetirizine 10mg, Loratadine 10mg × 1" on Sun 16th Feb and "50 x Trust Cetirizine Hayfever & Allergy Relief (Exp: End May 2027) × 1" on Thurs 20th Feb, and still haven't seen them.
I gave myself plenty of time for shipment, but what worries me now is that we're moving house on Fri 14th March.

    • Always best to PM details, that was I can personally reply confirming the address posted to - typical delivery for envelope post items is 10 working days, sometimes items come a few days sooner, sometimes a few days later. If you selected envelope post also keep in mind the item ships as an envelope so please be sure to check your letterbox, often clients anticipate a parcel and dont check their box.

    • Do you live in Qld - i ordered Monday and got yesterday although same state as op

  • +1

Such a good deal OP — thank you again, this is great

  • @jason101 can you recommend any antihistamines for kids. Thanks

    • probably best to ask a pharmacist or doctor

  • Do these tablets contain lactose coating OP? Thanks!

  • Can this be used for cat allergies?

  • +1

    I know Zyrtec(=Cetirizine), Claratyne(=Loratadine), Pseudoephedrine don't work for me

Only Fexo works for us - and we recently re-ordered this deal - so yeah if you haven't tried it, we recommend Fexo !

  • as a daily user of these I approve - really helps with my eczema, rarely have to use my steroid creams anymore

  • Dr. Reddys is a major manufacturer of medicines in India and of very good quality and standards

  • Thanks Jason, perfect timing as I needed to stock up again.

  • Ordered thanks!!

I already ordered since I need to restock but I miss the time when fexo is like half this price…

    • That deal was for stock which had 1 month until expiry.

      • any stock of Australian manufactured Fexo ??

        • Not that I am aware sorry - pretty sure it is all imported (all brands)

  • Hey Jason the code doesn’t work - says “enter a valid discount code” :)

    Cheers!
