Saw the thumbnail, checked the date, thought it was a prank. But no, apparently airbrushes really do look like crack pipes.
This vs Iwata Neo?
That’s the everlasting question!
The Neo has a smaller tip and finer control, good for fine work, but apparently not the same quality compared to other Iwata models because it’s made under license in China. Maybe the Iwata Eclipse would be better?
As for the Badger, it’s got a stop on the trigger which is adjustable and it’s easier to clean. The bigger tip allows you to cover more area too. A workhorse but maybe not as much finesse as the Neo.
Honestly, the ebay specials will take you a LONG way before it becomes the limiting factor.
This is a great upgrade for intermediate or advanced painters, but id always encourage a $20 ebay brush for beginners, i own several cheapies I still use for priming only, and the 'expensive' ones are really only marginally better.
