Kicking off from 6pm AEDT on April 1st is the AliExpress Choice Day sale with these coupons. Typically they're only applicable on Choice products only, however they may work on non-Choice products.

Choice Products are shipped directly from the AliExpress warehouse and typically arrive within 2 weeks. If the delivery exceeds 14 business days you're able to claim a coupon and if it's not delivered a full refund after 30 days. Most of my recent Choice orders have arrived within 7 business days.

Coupons are 1 per account, do not stack with the new user 'Welcome Offer', "Limited Deals" and minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

this always happens when i dont need anything

    • +22

This always happens just after I've bought something…

    • +3

I’ve bought many things on alix.. I have yet to buy anything I need on AliX.

    • +4

This always happens after I bought too much from Aliexpress.

      It’s a drug I swear these codes.

  • -2

    So what to buy? 😂

Carlos Sainz 1:24 F1 diecast model as it will be his last time in a Ferrari.

    • I was looking at getting a camera endoscope with the built in monitor. Got the WiFi one but would be easier without needing to muck around with the phone. Bonus is the head can move in different directions.

      • @jlogic Can these ones with the built in screen take screenshots for use later on?

        • +1

@theSav Not sure… need to get one to find out. I don't see why they wouldn't have a feature like that though, it makes perfect sense to have it. The ones I have seen on YouTube have shown a TF card function.

  • Anyone else had some of their orders recently say they failed getting through customs, but then have no further updates? Google'd it and others have said it happens here and there with stuff with batteries and that they usually are just checking them for bombs and shit and basically give them another week and everything should work out, but ANY communication from them would be welcome since I have like 4 showing it at the moment, made all the more paranoid after comments on here the other day saying Aus Post isn't always bothering to deliver Ali packages lately. :/

    • +5

Yes, all the time, don't stress it. It just means it takes 1-2 days longer than normal to deliver. If you're lucky, and the package goes through customs successfully as soon as it lands at the airport, in my experience I usually get it 7 days after ordering. With that 'failed customs' message, I usually get it 9-11 days after ordering.

      • 8/10 times it's failed at customs. I think it just means took longer to clear. Doesn't actually mean it failed.

    • +1

I've had a few things say that they failed to clear customs but I can't recall any then not having another message saying that they had cleared - usually quite soon afterwards.

I've got one order stuck in cleared customs of the capital in a next door state for the last 6.5 days but that's just down to how crappy Aramex are as a company IMHO. Had another item take 8 days to be delivered from a location less than 30km away - a tortoise could have easily walked that distance and back in that time. I hate Aramex!

    • My latest orders have all failed AU Customs.

One cleared and another is held for inspection.

    • The AliExpress inbuilt tracking is notoriously bad and won't show much else after that. While a lot of other 3rd parties sites give more detailed information, like showing them being cleared.

    • +1

I got a letter from customs once informing me that my cheap red laser pointer was a restricted item, was not permitted, had been forfeit to the crown and would be destroyed. My high powered green one made it through fine.

      • LOL… what power was that green laser pointer?

        • Sorry "high powered" was probably misleading
Just a cheap 5mW one from eBay (1mW is legal limit)

  • +1

How does one time the purchase on AliX? Been looking at Maikes watch straps and same strap price can vary between $2x n $9x.

    • +1

Just keep searching often different sellers of same item or even multiple listings from same seller can vary in pricing, others have cheap pricing then big shipping, it’s a matter of researching unfortunately you can’t trust the first results to be the best

    • +1

I found the same before I took the plunge after maybe 4 years of indecision. As stated above, the best you can do is search lots and filter the results manually. Sadly, the search experience is rubbish, with your results often full of dross and non-related stuff. If possible, I’d suggest searching for an official store or only purchase from a seller who displays a Choice badge.

      • +1

Use the app and there's a Choice button in the bottom centre that takes you to the Choice page where you can search for products.

  • -7

There is some blatant price jacking when these deals are happening. An item I purchased before the sale was $5.41 and is now $5.99 during the sale.

    https://imgur.com/a/Lf4KOVK

    Buyer beware.

    • +1

When did you order that one?

      • March 22nd

        • So you actually ordered within the Anniversary Sale and currently there are no sales active. So it's not so much price jacking, but rather "no longer on sale".

          • @Clear: But the base price of the item has changed though. Is that common for sales with coupon codes?

            • +2

@P1xellat3d: Yes. Pretty much all products drop in price and the coupons are a bonus.

              • @Clear: Still don't fully understand the pricing. Very hard to work out the baseline price of an item with constantly shifting prices.

                • +4

@P1xellat3d: That's because your currency has been set to AUD and that fluctuates as the exchange rate changes. USD does not.

                  • @Clear: Def happens, just got price jacked at the checkout page.

I kept trying coupon to work with different stores, and with that 70mai store it wasn't working, then all of a sudden it did and my payment didn't go through since I accidentally used an old cc and just as changed deets and put a new one in the priced changed to account for the 30$ lmao.

Pad Pro went from 190+tax to 220+tax

                    • @madgasser: Not denying that it does happen but less common. That shows as US$189.99 ex or US$211.99 inc tax for me before coupons and US$191.99 with coupons. That's actually cheaper than any deal I've posted.

                      • @Clear: Yeah, that's what it was before, and still shows up like that if you go incognito but if you try checking out now it should jump in price by the additional 30$ you save.

                        • @madgasser: Yes tax is added at checkout and that's normal.

                          • @Clear: Nah, the tax stuff I know but the price jumped from 250 to 280 on my checkout page (had added the one with the pen) and I could still see the old price sometime but not when I tried to check out.

I just made a new account and bought with the old price for a gold with a pen and it worked so whatever. Have you tried the pen with yours, any good?

Hope it's not an issue with the multiples, I know everyone makes them but technically only allowed 1.

                            Low price
                            High price

Same product from same store, i.e. not the 2023.

  • Do these codes work with shopback etc or likely to be rejected?

    • +1

      They work.

  • Any good viofo dashcam to get best deal using this coupon as well as SB cashback?

    • Shopback have the lowest cashback rate.

  • -1

    The cheapest I can find the Steeldive SD1970 on rubber is… US$51.82 + GST… Total US$57.39

Let's see what happens when these codes become active.

  • Is this the Global 2023 Pad Pro? or an older version?

And is there another store I can get an original Lenovo pen from that works with this one?

    • There's no official global version of the 2023. You will get a fake ROM

      • So avoid then? All 2023 come with China ROM?

        • If you get a 2023 with the proper Chinese ROM it's perfectly fine to use.

          • @Clear: From what I see the 2023 China ROM ones listed are not part of the choice day promo and this one is (as well as being a cheaper sticker price). Will I run into any issues getting this version, besides the inferior MT CPU vs. the SD?

            • @madgasser: A shitload of issues with a fake ROM. Unlocked bootloader, no updates, no Widevine meaning no Netflix HD and buggy performance to name a few.

  • How do I know if the item I want is a Choice item? Just try using the coupon code and see if it works? How about if I'm buying multiple items and some are Choice and some are not?

    • Choice items have the black on yellow banner/label/badge. You can mix with non-Choice, but only the Choice items count toward the coupon

      • Thanks.

Somehow most of the items I click on shows https://www.aliexpress.com/maintain.html

        • That's unusual.

If you're using the app, you can search just Choice items using the Choice tab/button (bottom middle of screen on Android). Choice items are also seperately grouped in your shopping cart

        • I seem to get that a fair bit on my computer actually. Although I think it's generally late afternoon when I do get it. So maybe it's when they're swapping the specials over or something lol. I just end up searching for whatever it is I'm looking at.

Never struck problem that using the app on my phone though.

  • Any good tablets worth buying

  • Any great handheld console for retro gaming that would benefit of a good price this time? Thank you

  • I just bought an item on AliExpress, just before the sale started, and they didn't charge any tax, no tax field on the order … WTF?

Are the codes working for anyone - page just refreshes and nothing happens?

    • +1

      Me too coupons not working

    • oh glad its not just me.

    • same here, codes still not working

  • Are the $ amounts in the original post in US$?
    Seems to be

cos 04CD30 is showing $350 min for me

    • Yes - those appear to be the USD prices and discounts. If you go to the choice day site (https://www.aliexpress.com/gcp/300001406/choice-day) - it says $45 off $350 for that one. However I can't get the codes to work with a cart of only choice items…

      • Is your currency set to AUD? If so the discounts showing will be skewed. USD is always correct.

        • Yup - currency set in AUD. Not surprised - I expect the discounts to be slightly different depending on currency. Regardless codes still don't work when I swap to USD pricing.

          • @donfandango: You've reached the minimum spend excluding GST and shipping?

            • @Clear: Definitely - around 90 USD / 140 AUD with free shipping. Both 04CD03 and 04CD08 don't work. In fact I tried all the codes on both Firefox and Chrome and get the same issue where is refreshes and nothing happens. I'll keep an eye out and report back if things change.

          • +1

@donfandango: codes are not working , see comments above

Codes appear to be working now!

Heres something AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Novo CPU Processor $286.66, seems pretty cheap.

yep those ali 7700's are a good deal (the 7700 in particular). I think some of them even come in the retail box which is interesting.

      • Yeah, seems to be a mix of retail and oem. Tbh at that price I wouldn't care.

  • I bought stuffs from the flash sale/super deal still cheaper than choice+voucher.
Again it is depends on what you buy :D not everything will be much cheaper on super deal.

  • I got this tablet and it gave me $45 off with code 04CD30
    https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005902996431.html?spm=a2g…

    • That sounds about right after USD to AUD conversion.

      • I'm just about to pull the trigger and buy it. Do you think it's a decent tablet? Mostly want it for watching movies and streaming youtube etc

        • +1

Don't do it. You can't easily reflash ZUI onto these ones.

          • @Clear: Thanks I'll keep looking

  • +1

Not sure if it's just me, but the discounts this time around feels a little… meh?

  • I used no fee credit card to pay in USD. Saved a few dollars. Hope this helps.
