    In before @Jimothy Wongingtons

I could only find it on a rubber strap

I would go the waffle over the other option (whatever that's called)

    Dang das cheap

looks to the right to see Mrs Muzeeb sleeping peacefully

          Yeah, but that ain't happening.

  • Tempting, sold mine lol

    • Please hand in your Ozwatchbargain membership.

I got a real Willard ice white one, didn't think I needed both but different enough I guess. Still have a spare bracelet so perhaps I should buy it again 😜.

Don't mind that rubber strap with the holes (wasn't impressed with the hardware on the waffle but perhaps they gave improved it (was small cheap thin polished Silver).

    • Sold mine as well for a tidy profit. Purchased an SPB317J going cheap so was sort of a double up.

      • Agree, but only sold mine for $70 plus postage.
Yeah I have the SPB301J , not sure I'll keep it forever so could rebuy I guess, used to wear the steeldive a lot more than this white one. Pretty expensive sitting around.

That coupon code has expired btw but still comes to $82 with discounts. Could always sell again for that.

Edit: repurchased, great beaters and can't guarantee I'll keep the real one. $1479 was a deal (30% off $2100 RRP) but hardly wear it at all).

  • Looks like only green or blue left now.

Plenty of other options around, check out the new Top 10 AliExpress Anniversary Sale Watches! video, I like the Seasten 600T (Doxa copy), hard choosing which colour though! Around US$103-110. A lot more modern looking.

I like the look of that one as well, with the darker dials.

Picked up a SD1970 last time around, getting quite a bit of wear out of it.

The Sea-Gull in black is gorgeous and a decent price from what i understand movement wise. Defs eyeing that off for that price! Thanks for posting the link.

SD1953 in turquoise on steel or rubber for $86.76 with same coupon code.

    • Ah kewl, I was looking for that one but my app was only serving up $120+ listings.

      Thanks, got the jubilee one.

      • Me too, have a few on the standard stainless steel band, so thought I'd mix it up a bit.

I tried getting this one back in Nov last year when there was the insane deal for about A$77 www.ozbargain.com.au/node/811202, but somehow the shipping returned it to sender before it even left China, with no explanation as to why :-(.

Tried for over a month through Ali chat to get them to ship another, but that was like hitting your head against a brick wall, so gave up and just got the refund. Have bought a few of the Steeldives, usually with prompt shipping, but maybe in that case they were skiving as they didn't want to let them go at that price.

Hoping for just $10 more this one actually makes it through.

        • Got mine this week.

Initially thought the turquoise dial was a bit light and bright/not enough contrast with white hands and dial markers, but growing on me more by the day.

Jubilee band is fairly hefty. Clasp a bit chunky, but otherwise looks and functions well enough.

Currently losing about 2s per day, which can't complain about out of the box, with no calibration.

As always with Steeldives, lume literaaly stands out :-).

  • Picked up the Tandorio titanium for a decent deal to go with my SD1970

  • Hi @WatchNerd it seems like you are overseas 😁.

Do you happen to know (or anyone else) if the cashbacks for the Ali affiliates partners applies to SB or just CR?
Seems like SB have 8% and was hoping it applies to watches. The Seestern store is an affiliate by the look of it.

    https://portals.aliexpress.com/linkchecker.htm

    Cheers,

    • What makes you think I'm overseas? I wish.

Not sure about affiliates, just clean up the link & remove it to be safe.

      • Dunno just the message I got for PM. It would be nice, haha.

Too easy, no the 8% will track but doesn't hurt to go through SB anyway.. we will see.

        • Hang on that doesn't make sense anyway, you can't click through from a cashback website to an affiliate link.

          • @WatchNerd: no but if the store is an affiliate then it should track the cashback I thought.
Doesn't really matter either way but i'm sure there used to be upsized cash backs for Ali in the past.
Will see in a few days time.

  • Tandorio SKX homage on rubber is cheap… US$52.17 - $5 coupons + $5.22 GST, total US$52.39 (~AU$80.20) delivered.

I'd buy the no logo version.

  • Not a surprise the price dropped after the code expired so it's still almost the same - US$51.82 + GST… Total US$57.39

~A$87 Sounds ok if someone was still wanting one, I paid $82.

Ps. The buckles is huge on that rubber strap with the holes, Wonder what that's a copy of..

      • I bought one on a waffle strap over a year ago for a family member & thought it was pretty good quality.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the price when these codes become active.

        • Yeah they do the trick, the one with holes and the big buckle is alright too. I prefer them on bracelet though.

I don't think they would get much cheaper than 82$, all those codes look similar enough to the previous sales I think.

        • Pretty decent hardware these days, the buckle is pretty chunky but nice:

Still got a bracelet and upgraded clasp from my last one, not sure if i'll wear this but didn't need to sell my last one!
ps. wouldn't mind if these had drilled lugs. Can't seem to find the end links, will have to email them for some more perhaps.
