It is, based on their overly optimistic RRP. Keep an eye on the David Jones sales, Timex crop up regularly in the extra % off sales so good bargains to be had at nearly half price.

Aaah. I picked this one over Q Timex gmt because I thought it's not an "homage". Didn't have IWC on my mind at all. Anyway, it still looks less homagy to me.
They’re pilots watches, pretty much everything is a copy or ‘influenced by’ something else. It’s a nice buy (I think)

Getting up there a bit for a timex but not bad after 20% off (retail is $289.00 =~A$459, not $599 with Aussie tax).

The GMT is a better size (for me) but have always liked the flyback chronograph as well ($360 with code).. hmmA bit too busy and a bit too big for my tastes, but a beautiful piece nonetheless. I have very small wrists, so I think the 39mm will sit well.
yeah agree. I like the overall style but it is a not big (43mm I think) and 50mm lug to lug.
