http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7-Inch-Ebook-Reader-Video-Player-…Don't waste your time with LCD screen ebook readers, they have very poor viewing angles and low resolution. For serious ebook readers, get a eink Kindle or Kobo.
For those who want ebook reading and watching videos, grab this tablet for $53 delivered.
does the ebook on ebay use eink?
No, its just one that is LCD simiar to the one sold by OO.
This is definitely not a bargain.
This device is not good for reading eBooks (it has an LCD screen, not an eInk screen)
This device is not good for much else either.
I wouldn't consider buying it even if it were half the price. They are TFT in some case I found that they are less bright than LCD screen and more comfortable on eye.
Of course eink is better.
TFT is a type of LCD.
Yes I know but their blacklight seem a bit less bright than full LCD but eInk is still the best.
All modern types of LCD are TFT. You get different forms of TFT - TN, IPS, MVA, PVA… but they're all TFT.
But I found that the non shiny screen make it better to read than LCD tablet.
LCD ereaders are really cheap. I believe you can get them for less.
What no-one has mentioned so far is that ALL LCD tablets whether advertised as an ebook reader or not, have extremely poor battery life compared to eInk readers.
Even iPad my wife use it to read she has to recharge almost everyday.
you wouldnt get this when the same priced android tabs do more.
