  • I have two concurrent Ampol offers on my Amex.

    Hopefully they stack…

Addtionally, they should also stack with the Origin 14cents off offer.

    • both Ampol Foodary, or is one EG Ampol?

      • All are Ampol EG…

(plus an additional 4c for instore purchase)

        • actually 2 separates: Amex promo is EG whilst EDR is AMPOL. can't use it in EG. It might stack with Ampol Cash

          • @rjams23:

            actually 2 separates

No, both Amex and Origin offer are Ampol EG.

            Amex offers are:
Spend $60 or more, get $5 back, up to 3 times
Spend $60 or more, 3 times and get $20 back

            Origin offer is:
10 cents off using Origin voucher + 4 cents off Woolies store voucher
plus 4 cents off for instore Ampol purchase…

  • Never understood why TAS and NT are usually excluded from these sort of offers?

    • TAS is excluded from this offer, because I suspect Woolworths in Tasmania has some sort of independence on its operations from Woolworths in the rest of Australia.

For example, Woolworths in Tasmania (strictly speaking, Purity Supermarkets in southern Tasmania) started its own loyalty program (Frequent Shopper Club) in 1992. Woolworths only started rolling out Everyday Rewards in the mid-2000s in the rest of Australia.

Additionally, in 2016, Woolworths in Tasmania increased their fuel discount offer to 6c/L. I suspect that was in reaction to the RACT starting to offer a 6c/L discount for its members at United service stations in Tasmania.

When Woolworths shut down the Frequent Shopper Club in 2021 in favour of rolling out the Everyday Rewards program to Tasmania, Ampol Foodary and EG Ampol in Tasmania were still excluded from the Everyday Rewards program. You can redeem a Woolworths fuel discount from an Everyday Rewards card (where the discount is accepted), but you cannot earn any Everyday Rewards points (nor redeem Everyday Rewards Dollars at EG Ampol). I suspect that if Ampol Foodary and EG Ampol were to join the Everyday Rewards program, the higher fuel discount offer would need to be axed. Who knows whether there is some sort of contract in place regarding this higher fuel discount offer.

Personally, with how infrequently Ampol Foodary and EG Ampol runs bonus points promotions, I would happily accept a higher Woolworths fuel discount in exchange for missing out on points.

Btw, is NT excluded from this offer? I cannot see anything to suggest they are excluded from these kinds of deals.

    • Never understood why TAS and NT are usually excluded from these sort of offers?

      They don't have AFL teams.

  • Has anyone purchased gift cards and gotten bonus points?

Qualifying spend amount is the final amount at the checkout after any discount or Everyday Rewards fuel vouchers and excludes spend on the following: Smoking products, gift cards (including iTunes), mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards, tickets, cash outs, lottery products, delivery services and purchases using a Country Age Pension Card, a charge account, or purchases on an ineligible AmpolCard account

  • I refilled $30. twice yesterday in ampol foodary . still no updates on basic point or bonus point earned

..how long does it tracked ? thanks

    • Usually takes up to 2-3 business days before the bonus points from Ampol Foodary are deposited into the EDR account.

      • today already 3rd day and no sign of original point or bonus point…

        • My mistake, turns out Ampol has mentioned that it may take up to 5 business days for the points scanned at Ampol Foodary to be loaded into the EDR account.

          Per: https://www.ampol.com.au/about-ampol/our-partners#:~:text=**….

          • @abr83: thank you my friend! keep waiting >.<

            • @ggfatty:

Your bonus points will be automatically loaded onto your Everyday Rewards Card within 7 business days after you complete your qualifying spend.

    • I visited Ampol Foodary twice Tuesday, first at Rydalmere then Ermington, both > $30 each, but received only 500 points for the 2nd visit and nothing for the 1st.

      • I am still missing both points for the visit on 25th. both > $30
