              @tbone74: Wow, sounds like a nightmare, sorry you had to go through all that hassle. Appreciate you taking the time to warn others about this, I think it's important that anyone thinking about doing this is aware.

              I would be fairly certain I have a debt as large as any payment I'd make, but honestly, it seems like they could just arbitrarily decide whatever terms they want at any moment's notice, and refund or whatnot, which I'm not particularly keen on.

    Tried to buy more and now get "Transaction failed, please contact customer service"

    Unlike the last saga, Amex did not take the funds out of my account when it failed. Saved me calling them up for a refund.

      Hey dumb question how'd you do this? I'm looking at buying Coles giftcards, $250 worth comes down to $242.40. Then I will have $7.60 left on each card I use which I guess can just use for bills? Or were you able to use the full $250 to get a bonus 4% and if so where did you do that?

        You can select custom value in the woolworths gift card portal.

        Still use the 4% discount link, select the woolworths gift card then manually enter the value to 260.41. When you get to checkout it will reduce it by 4% working out to be exactly $250.

    Transactions failed. Tried with both AMEX and NAB card. NAB's fraud team just called to verify the transaction. Will try again once they unblock it.

      You can send another few transactions by their other credit card gateway, click "other payment options", then "Government EasyPay". I could get 9 through the ATO portal, then another 5 through EasyPay today.

      I bought a couple of these cards in the last few days with the $0 fee offer and had no issues but using the same card again today wouldn't work. Got it working with a BOQ Visa though on the same email and phone number so it was obviously the CC that was the problem.

      Same happened to me. I contacted Amex and they said they never got the 2nd / 3rd transactions. So it appears its an issue with the merchant blocking the payments rather than the bank/financial provider.

      I then used the details of my wife and sent her 2 gift cards, transaction went through seamlessly.

      Appears that giftcards.com.au is blocking some of their own transactions, or they cant handle the volume of ozbargainers ripping into this deal.

    Things to try when trying to buy multiple sets:
    - Different credit card
    - Incognito/private mode or a different browser
    - Wait a bit of time before retrying
    - Adding periods . into the email for Gmail accounts (the email server ignores any periods) if you want to spice things up

    Experience shows that they do not care about name or mobile, and I think also email address (?)
