      • Head logged in with the gov id but I feel the discount didn't apply properly.

        • You definitely used the general store because you cannot use gov portal on samsung app, only education portal. So you gained 5% and lost out on 20%. It is unfortunate but it is what it is.

Worth doing it on PC and phone to see and compare prices.

Might not be too late to cancel the order and wait for another deal.

    • +2

You have ordered from general store, not EPP. $350 trade-in bonus is for general store. And EPP portal cant be accessed from App. Still not a bad price for phone.

      • No. The general store pricing was higher. I verified that.

        • like… 5% higher? 😂

          • @CodeXD: Sorry but if it was just 5% that I received as discount even then I feel the calculation is not right (yea.I know I might sound dumb but right now my brain is truly fried with samsung's way of calculating and displaying discounts).

Can you please do the math and share?

            • @Nps: I have access to Samsung EPP with 20% off. I just tested it now by adding S24U 256gb to my cart and used $5 trade in just like you did.

              product price
              1 item $2,199.00
Free Samsung Care+, 1 year device program FREE
              Trade-in Galaxy S7 - $5.00
              Total savings: -$694.80
              Total Inc. GST $1,504.20

I don't have a CME code or applied the GALAXYAI code but CME is supposed to take off $200? So that is already $1,304.20 without the GALAXYAI code or additional accessories for just the phone. Which makes me think you did not get the 20% off from using government portal.

              • @CodeXD: Sorry, couldn't re won't earlier as this site has restrictions on the number of posts a new user can make in first 24 hours.

                I ordered the S24 ultra 512 GB.

            • @Nps: You can check the discounts applied in 'My Orders'.

What size did you order? And sure the trade-in value was $5?

              • @ozzbargainer: I ordered the S24 ultra 512 GB. I checked the order and it doesn't mention the 20% discount anywhere.

I called Samsung and they said can't do anything about it now even though clearly it was misleading information from their end😭

They weren't even willing to let me re-order at the same price ☹️

                • +1

@Nps: General store didn't have 20% discount but had double storage pre-order offer. This is what you could have got with a $1 trade-in device.

                  S24U 512GB: $2,199
                  Buds2 Pro: $349
                  Trade-in: $1
                  Cart Total: $2,199 + $349 - $1 = $2,547

                  Discounts:
                  5% app: $127.35
                  Trade-in bonus: $350
                  CME coupon: $200
                  Ecosystem discount: $150
                  GALAXYAI: $100
                  Total discount: $927.35

                  Final price: $2,547 - $927.35 = $1,619.65

Same in EPP store: $1,567.20 ($52.45 cheaper)

                  • @ozzbargainer: Thank you. Your maths adds up.

Not sure how people on this site (in earlier pages) managed to save so much (few people got it for as low as $1188).

                    • @Nps: It depends on when and how the order was placed. Best prices availed for S24U 512GB after all discounts and cancelling accessories were

if ordered before 21/1 with $1 trade-in and $350 worth accessories

                      EDU - $1091
                      EPP - $1186
                      General - $1250

if ordered between 21/1 and 6/2 with $1 trade-in and $250 worth accessories

                      EDU - $1159
                      EPP - $1255
                      General - $1322

    • I paid $1,182.28 without the 5% app discount. This was for the S24U 512gb and $5 trade in and refund on all accessories. Used both GALAXYAI and CME.

      • How did you get the refund of on accessories? I want to do the same to reduce my loss.

        • Cancel the accessories

  • Anyone blueys who were "shipped from 07/02" get any updates today?

    • Congrats on joining S24U blue "ship from 12/02" waiting group… hugs

I don't think you would get anything. My order was from 19th for 512 S24U and it is still at "awaiting dispatch"… If you do though, let us know.
Tried connecting to Samsung support chat and always get "leave a number and we would call back" - no call back EVER! Useless support!! Massive letdown!!

      • I have the same 12/02 date, but have little confidence in being fulfilled by or on that date as they seem to have just picked a date 2 weeks from when we were supposed to get them by. We should be asking for interest payments as they took payment almost a month ago but have delivered.

    • Mine is showing shipped from 08/02 and collected support many times but as above, couldn't connect to anyone to anyone from support and no calls. Still showing as Awaiting dispatch. Invoice shows get it by 7th Feb. :) Ordered on 21st 2AM. Not sure if any movements from blue gang after the initial ones from other people comments.

      • They said they shipping based on order date. I ordered 19th at 1pm, still awaiting dispatch… Planned shipping is 12/02

        • I ordered at 19th around 12:00am and I am still awaiting dispatch with planned shipping for 27/02. Actual bruh momento

          • @swordkillz: Makes me worry my date hasn't even been adjusted yet. Still 7/2. :/

        • same, ordered 512GB BLUE S24U AT 19th 2. 55pm. still awaiting… shipping from 12/02.

          • @Simon616: S24U 512 Blue, Ordered 18th 9PM… Just had the order status changed to Shipped

    • No updates for me unfortunately

  • -1

This thread is making me re-adjust expectations. I ordered a 256gb ultra (non blue) on 4/2 and it said shipping from 7/2… looks like its going to be quite a wait.

  • I feel sorry for all those haven't received their phones yet. For those who pre-ordered S23 devices last year, when actually the phones started to receive their first major software update and was there any big issue been resolved by the first update

  • -2

Man, I can't wait to receive my s24U Titanium Blue today :D /s

  • Do I need to do anything about the Samsung care plus? Do I act only when I need to replace my phone?

If I give the phone to someone, get they use the care plus?

  • Spoke to Samsung re delayed delivery and was advised of a shortage due to the unexpected surge in demand for the S24 line. All expected shipping dates have been adjusted accordingly but they could not advise a date at this time. When I asked if I could expect delivery in Feb, Mar or April they could not confirm when it would happen only that I would receive an update when stock was available. Strap in for a long wait, not a good sign!

    • Pretty disappointing but not unexpected for Samsung to drop the ball on customer experience and service. They could have gotten on the front foot of it by offering to allow customers to cancel their orders for a full refund or wait and be compensated with a small token gesture. Probably should look up who heads up customer experience in Australia via LinkedIn

      • Completely agree! When I told them their handling was unacceptable, the call "dropped out." If Google would price-match what I paid for the S24U on a Google 8 Pro, I'd jump ship in a minute but right now it's more than 2x greater and I have no use for $390 in Google store credit. Google will also probably match the Ultra's AI features by the end of 2024 through firmware updates without Samsung's reported 2025 cut-off.

I'm not on Linkedin so can't follow up per your advice, I'll just wait and see what happens.

      • No one (with the right state of mind) would advertise that he/she is the head of customer support for Samsung - not a good thing for public viewing or bashing…
I think Samsung should have some stock/inventory stockpiled in anticipation of pre-orders. Not ramping up production to meet the influx of pre-orders. Just poor planning and lack of trust in their own products in that sense…

Maybe not ideal for business stand point to stockpile 'cause of storage, handling and etc but this gives more customers fast access to new S24 devices.
More devices in the market makes greater presence and marketing for them - more people use and brag about the phone etc…
The faster market penetration for S24 would significantly reduce iPhone's share and can only be beneficial for Samsung… Again, poor management and lack of trust in their own products here!

Of course, if you are influencers or someone with large social followers, you would probably get an invite for "complimentary" S24 Ultra a week before the launch and no waiting needed. You probably get the box hand-wrapped and with an autographed letter from the customer experience manager with direct email address and 24/7 phone assistance.

Reading posts in reddit and other forums, it appears to be more delays happening, except for certain countries. About a week to 3 weeks… It appears Samsung prioritises those for obvious reasons… And Australia isn't one of those. Expect more Kristy's "excellent Samsung Experience" emails, peeps!

    • That’s a bummer, can I ask what color/storage combo you ordered?

      • +1

        S24U 256GB Yellow and Orange

    • I just jumped on JB HiFi online to see when an S24U 256GB yellow could be bought and delivered, got the following:

FASTEST Team Global Express 27 March
      Australia Post 1 April

Doesn't instil confidence in potential dates for a lot of preorders from Samsung direct…

Here's how to cancel your accessories!

    1. Log into your Samsung account.
    2. Go to your orders and find the order for the phone and accessories.
    3. Click the dropdown arrow. You will see the phone, 1yr free Samsung Care and you trade up the top, and the accessories separately down lower.
    4. At the top right of the order you will see a Cancel Order button. Press it.
    5. Now select the part of your order you want to cancel.
    6. I chose 'change of mind'.
    7. You will instantly receive an email confirming the cancellation as well as the order details updated to show the accessories have been cancelled.
    • How long does it take to receive the refund for the cancelled accessories?
I received my phone on Friday but still no refund. Payed by credit card.

    • Can we do that even when status show 'order shipped'?

      • I don't think so. Once the order has reached "shipped", that means the item(s) had been marked and ready for shipping. You can reach out to their support and ask.

      • yea, apparently for samsung 'order shipped' is not exactly shipped. So as long as you have the option to cancel them I don't see a reason why you can't.

edit: just saw the other reply. May be you can try as long as it let's you cancel it. The worst that can happen is you receive the accessories and you do a manual return. if you get lucky, you get the refund and the accessories :)

  • Ordered the orange S24 Ultra on the 28th of Jan and at the time it said arrives on 7 Feb 2024 and then a few days later it changed to 'starts shipping from 07/02' where it still sits today. Still stuck on 'awaiting dispatch' with no change in the 07/02 estimated shipping from date. Is it worth flagging it with Samsung support? Can't imagine that many people would've bought the orange colour

    • You'll get a generic response with nothing else.

    • Based on my experience, I wouldn't bother flagging your case to Samsung customer support. Even if you happen to get a "live" person to speak to you and not restricted to a chatbot, their staff don't have access to live stock numbers. A significant number of early orders under the early GALAXI AI promo period (first tranche) remain unfilled. Samsung also appears to have reserved significant presale numbers of AU S24s to official resellers at the expense of their direct online customers. You can go to JB/OW/HN and purchase certain models right now which online are "unofficially" on backorder. The disappointing part of this process is the continued deceptive dates for availability/delivery suggested on the Samsung online store which seem to contradict what staff are saying.

      • but but.. what about the online exclusive colours? The didn't have to reserve that for other resellers.. They just dropped the ball on this one. I am so tempted to cancel the order, but might have to wait a bit to get similar savings on the phone again.

      • Well finally got an update this morning. Still saying awaiting dispatch but the 'start shipping from' date has changed from 07/02 to 22/02! Very annoying considering Samsung takes payment at the time of order rather than at the time of actually shipping the damn order like Amazon. If Samsung only took payment from the time the order ships then I wouldn't be pissed about it to be honest

        • I ordered mine on 6th Feb and it is showing Shipped. I got notification from startrack as well.

          S24 Ultra Orange 512gb.

  • My ultra blue 256 ordered 20th turned to shipped today. Miracles do happen

edit - no tracking yet. hope there's no chance for further delays once changed to shipped.

    • True. Checked mine just now after follow up with chat for 2 days and it now shows as Shipped with status Get it by 13/02/24. Blue 256G ordered on 21st 2AM. Finally some progress. What's your get it by date?

      • yeah same date.

        • Great, hope we get it by at least 13th. Looking at comments i was disappointed but let's hope best for everyone.

  • -1

Received 1 512GB Purple and 1TB Orange this week. Still waiting on 2 512GB Blue models. All ordered on 18th. S24 Green delayed till end of the month!

  • Well, some good news.

    S24U Orange 256
    Ordered 4/2
    Ships from 7/2

Just now changed to “shipped” with a ETA of get it by 13/02

  • Worst part is, i dont even care if i had a blue. Id take grey or black. It will be straight in a case

  • My order was marked as shipped today, how/when will I get the tracking number?

    • +2

You won’t, need to be ‘on the way’ to get a tracking number

  • 256GB Blue 20/1 11pm order has just shipped

    • 512GB BLUE 19/1 15.00PM still awaiting….

      • Feels

      • 512GB BLUE 19/1 10:30am, awaiting dispatch, start shipping from 27/02/2024. I didn't cancel any accessory.

        • I'm a blue 512, ordered on 18/1, no movement still saying 12/2 (But I don't believe it)

          • @Pcoder: It was 12/2 a few days ago, then they changed to 27/2. I should cancel the accessories or order the other colors.

            • @jimojr: Might have too with the accessories but probably monitor us 12/2s as I think there dates are flaky.

You could end up cancelling accessories but not be in a better position.

      • Mine just changed to "Shipped" and get it by 14 Feb… No tracking yet since it is not "on the way" yet… Fingers crossed!
        Blue 512GB, order 19th Jan.

  • My Ultra 256gb orange purchased 29 Jan, just shipped today.

    • Hmmm the hold up must be the 512GB variants then as my orange S24U ordered on 28 Jan is still stuck in awaiting dispatch :(

  • i made a purchase from this deal, a S24U and also a Watch6. However, i accidentally ordered the watch6 bluetooth, but wanted the 4G version.
When the order came, i opened the box before realising, however didnt actually touch the watch :(

Now Samsung support say they wont exchange it as my box is opened.

I know its all my fault, but was wondering if anyone has got any tips on how i can get this bluetooth watch swapped for a 4G watch without incurring too much financial damage?

    thanks :(

    • +1

You sell the watch6 b/t on marketplace and repurchase watch6 LTE when there is a sale

      • thats what i thought :(
lots of places would take things like that back with a restocking fee, but samsung seem to be unwilling

        • Try contacting Samsung E-Commerce Support (https://forms-prod.sprinklr.com/guided-workflows/64a28967637…) and pleading your case. If they can't help ask whether you can do a trade-up as a special case. Officially trade-ups are from Watch 5 Gen and below but no harm in asking. You'll prob need to wear a loss on the deal if they agree. Might also be worth your time to reach out to the [email protected] and [email protected] teams and see if they can help or direct you to the correct area. Best of luck.

  • 256U Blue, Ordered 21st, was "Shipping from 08/02", now "Get it by 12/02/24"

  • Same here, 256U Blue, Ordered 20th, was "Shipping from 08/02", now showing Shipped and "Get it by 12/02/24".

  • Woohoo ordered on the 20th and finally shipped

    • 512 blue?

    • Details!!! you need to provide context. ;)

Edit scrolled back - hes 512 blue, ordered 19/1.

      :o

      • I have a 512 blue and my order was going nowhere, so cancelled the one accessory not in stock, the powerbank, which I don't think was as good as ones on ozbargain yet cost almost $40. Hopefully it will now move

        • its the limited quantity of exclusive colour devices holding you up. Blue appears to be highest demand compared to supply available, by a margin.

          • @lethalmoney: It's just I ordered my on 18/1, before you

            • @Pcoder: Just turned to shipped, I cancelled one accessory which wasn't in stock and this might have helped.

  • 1TB Blue
    Ordered - 20th Jan
Latest Update - Shipped with ST today 8th Feb
Said Shipping from 12th so happy days since shipped today
Tracking also showing in Aus Post App

    • how do you get tracking?

      • No official email from Samsung. Tracking just showed up in my aus post app.

How do I know it’s Samsung? They use Star track and my parcel is getting delivered overnight from Sydney to Melb and I am not accepting anything else so assuming it is what it is :)

  • Anyone did an online order for a store pickup? I received a tracking and it’s been delivered to the store last friday but no notification to pick up yet. Samsung CS was hopeless and no callback. Any advise? Thanks

    • +1

Just visit the store and show them the tracking that it had been delivered to the store. A week to notify is acceptable, most likely your order might have been overlooked.

      • Thanks @nokia3660 i have also been told to come to the store by the CS rep on the phone.

        • good, glad it worked out.. btw if you hadn't figured it out already, I meant to say A week to notify is NOT acceptable, guess I just said it in my head and it didn't flow through to my fingers :)

    My 512 24u blue hust changed from 7/2 to 21/2 . Ffs

    • I ordered at 19th 14.55pm, 512 blue, still awaiting…. says shipping from 12/2, but I don't believe it. Samsung should to compensates us.

  • Blue 512GB S24U here. Did anyone that filled in the form get a call back? Is it worth chasing up?

    • Have ordered a blue 512 S24U here. Got a call back after 3 days.
They just updated the same which is displayed on the website. High demand, samsung is trying their best, etc. Will be shipped on or before 12th (same is displayed on my order). When I asked is it like 100% guaranteed, it will be shipped by 12th, then it was all blabbering.
Managed to chat with them a week back, tried my best to get some compensation. Was offered 10% discount on any appliance/smart watch. I argued what kind of compensation it is when I am paying 450$ to get a 50$ discount, they were like sorry I am not the owner of samsung, and this is the instuction given to us, cannot do anything more.

      Just waste of time.

  • Live chat is basically disabled now.
    The callback trick could be bypassed by insisting on chat support. They now say;

    "‎
I understand that you need urgent assistance about your order/refund/etc, please know that we are assisting multiple customers at the moment, please reach out to us again within 3-4 hours
    "

    Poor, dismissive and deflective CS.

My order is marked as shipped and "Get it by 12/02/24". However, I'm flying on Sunday, is there anyway that I can expedite the delivery by tomorrow 11/02?

    • Tomorrow is 10/02.

      • Yes I meant 10/02

        • I don't think so. I was told by CS that there is no expedited shipping option.

  • For your references, I ordered Blue 512gb early on 18/1 and got delivered on 5/2

Blue showing multiple ETA for different people, and how early they get delivered to you depends on a lot of factors, not just order date

  • I order Samsung S24 using Samsung Trade Up for a Cracked Screen iPhone (it was mentioned we don't have to send the phone).. Now Samsung folks asking for the phone.. do we have to send the phone.

  • Update on the meaning of order status "Shipped" directly from Samsung today. When we see the status "Shipped," Samsung staff see something different at their end:

Samsung: The status of your order is Shipping Preparation. In ‘Shipping Preparation’ status, Delivery Orders (DO) have been generated and transferred to the warehouse. The warehouse will then pick, pack and dispatch the order. The status of your order should progress to 'Shipped' status within 6 hours for our Hand Held Products. The turn around time for the delivery lead time for our Mobile Phones is 3-10 business days.

For the estimated delivery date of our Mobile Phone or Hand Held Product; It's 3-10 business days or you can check it here as well on your end using this link.

Me: There are 6 statuses online: 1) Order received, 2) Order accepted, 3) Awaiting dispatch, 4) Shipped, 5) On the way, 5)Delivered.

Samsung: On your end, Shipped means it's being transported from our warehouse to our courier which is AU Post.

Me: Just so I understand "Shipped" online means "Shipping being prepared at Samsung Warehouse?"

Samsung: That's right. Either Samsung Warehouse or our Courier which is AU Post who's assigned to delivering the orders.

Samsung: Aside from this concern, is there anything else that I can help you with?

Me: I didn't realize this was so complicated. Thank you for your assistance.

Samsung: I understand what you've gone through and since you're one of our Samsung Loyal Customer, I would like to offer you a voucher code to compensate the inconvenience that you experienced. The voucher code will be sent to you through this chat. Are you planning to purchase any Samsung products within the next 30 days?
