  • Thanks OP. I'm keen on the Wi-Fi version or the Pro. Do you know if a deal is enroute?

    • Apologies, but there are currently no available codes for these two models.

      • @dealbest:

I assume you're a rep as you only post reolink. Can you provide some feedback or additional information regards the comments plz

    • Be cautious about this model - I have now used 2 of the WiFi version with the same problem that it does not return back to the "monitor point" after tracking/following a moving object. The first one I had worked for around 2 weeks, then no amount of support (good though it is), or calibration or firmware versions would fix this and it would end up monitoring a wall. The second one worked for 7 months or so then the same problem - returning to sporadic points to monitor, unable to even manually fully rotate to the endpoints.

Reolink support was generally good and responsive in both instances. However for the 2nd one they said they would neither send a replacement nor would they do a full refund and my option was to choose another camera in the range, but they were only offering to credit me the cost of the camera and asking me to pay the price difference for the forced upgrade.

      • I face the same issue, but also found that the tracks don't work too well after a couple of months. I was not able to rotate the camera properly, perhaps dusts have gotten in and jammed the rotating tracks which is probably also why it does not return to the original location properly.

        • Oh wow… thank you both for sharing.. my whole strategy was putting the camera on a corner of the house to get the side gate and walkway to the rear yard, for it to pan between points and track movements.. i imagine its not dust because it would die from the rain first.. so bad motors maybe..

          • @serbpie: I made this comment on one of the other deals and there was some other users who also confirmed the same experience there as well. For sure both of mine were in well protected areas and not dust, especially not the one which only last a couple of weeks. Now I basically use them in a fixed position with tracking switched off, which is a shame.
