    Good deal. Well spotted O.P.

  • What happened to the regular Costco deals?

  • +12

This moment Woolworths have pack of 16 + 3 free in the pack for 54 . That is 2.84 per unit

    • Can you please share the link?

        • not sure if my math is wrong or seeing the wrong link…. but the woolies price is $56.70? and for 19 pcs = $2.98 each?

          • +5

@inoq: I see $54 from that link. And I think the '3 free' is already included in the 16 total, because woolies calculates the price per head at $3.38.

            • +5

@Horacio: Why stop at giving 3 free when they make it an 8 pack and then give "8 Free Heads"?

Maybe they should also state the packaging is allergen friendly and also Halal.

Packaging these days are stupid and misleading.

    • That's better than Aldi (maybe on purpose) - which has a current special buy of $50 / 12pk = $4.17 ea

Soft only unless you want damaged enamel

  • Replace your brush head every 3 months to relive that new brush feeling.

Average 7-9 months here. I know, yuck! But I forget. Anyone else the same, or beat my average?

    • +2

No idea how you manage to make them last so long? I can't even make it to the 3 month mark. I'm probably too aggressive with brushing but still 7-9 months is incredible so they not get all flat and faded?

      • +3

simple. by brushing every other day.

I only change the head every 12 months.

    • +2

It's the black mould inside that drives me to replace them - grows even when I rinse them carefully after use

      • +1

I do this too but recently I've started avoiding turning the head upside down to rinse the inside and just focus on rinsing the brush itself, so far it seems to be working. I feel like the inside of the neck section never fully dries properly hence causing the mould

        • I might give this a go - what I'm doing now isn't working well

          • +2

@Horacio: I always rinsed it the same way you do and my wife never did and only rinsed the brush and hers has always had minimal or no mould, hence why I've started doing it too haha

      • +3

I pull the toothbrush head off the body/motor rinse it and shake water out, then reattach and run motor and shake it again. Helps get rid of water sitting around inside. I find you can also pull the head off slightly resting on the body and it allows a bit more air underneath for drying

        • I leave them off entirely to dry, but I will try your method of running it after cleaning to jiggle water out

    Any cross action?

there’s so many heads to choose from. Just want to ask which is the best head to get in general?

    • -3

      Whichever one is cheapest.

    • I want to know the same. Which one is the most common one everyone is buying?

    • My dentist told me the sensitive heads, but that could be their recommendation for me personally.

  • +1

I ordered this the other day.

Haven’t bought new heads in years. I didn’t realise it’s cheaper than normal.

I made sure it was from Amazon and not a third party to make sure they are genuine.

When they arrived, the printing on the packaging didn’t look 100% sharp and they were made in China.

I think the last ones I purchased years ago were made in Ireland.

The actual toothbrushes were fine. Hmmm.

I was in Woolies today so checked the packaging and it’s identical, no I believe the ones from Amazon aren’t counterfeit.

  • I replace roughly every 1.5 years, so this will last me 12 years.

MyDeal has 12 pack for 3D White for $30, not sure if it’s better deal

    • Looks like a better deal to me. $2.50 per head.

Pack of 16 compatible brushes $11 on Temu with free shipping: https://www.temu.com/au/replacement-heads-compatible-with-br…

      • +11

temu is all fake shit, its cheap cause it really is cheaply made and not worth buying

      • This any good? Has anyone tried these compatible ones?

        • +4

I've only ever used the fakes and they are fine. I don't know how anyone can pick the difference. My Oral B is more than 10 years old - have gone through multiple chargers, but the actual unit is fine and going strong - I have never used the real brush heads. I do not have a single issue with my teeth, I get checked by a dentist semi annually. The only dental work I have done is wisdom teeth removal, which is not related to brushing.

          • -4

@GreenLego: How about if they leak millions of Mirco plastics into you?

Sorry, even fake runners don't use the top end materials.

Tshirt is okay, but otherwise cuts will probably be made.

            • +1

              @[Deactivated]: Do you swallow toothpaste?

            • @[Deactivated]: And you think the genuine ones are not made out of plastic?

              • -1

@bigbadboogieman: Maybe different quality? Do you think people creating fakes care about safety?

Look at fake shoes, they make amazing copies but theyre not using the same high quality materials.

If i am making fake anything, i am cutting alot of corners.

I bought one blade off KOGAN, i couldnt even use it to shave! it ripped all my hair out! I buy them from Amazon and can dry shave for months on them!

So yeah, no fakes for me.

        • +1

This any good? Has anyone tried these compatible ones?

I never tried them but anything you buy from Temu you can find on Alexpress, eBay and Amazon.
With Temu returns are very very easy and painless and you have the choice of money back or shop credit.
They even give you $5 store credit if the items arrive after the scheduled time.

    • +3

You can get fakes much cheaper.

      • +3

I'd rather invest in my teeth by buying reputable stuff. Major dental work is not a cheap alternative, not worth the risk

      • +1

The fake are from China. You don't know what material they use to make the unit's.

        • -5

          The fake

          Likewise your face.

        • I agree, in this instance you don't know if they use cheaper plastics which may leak into your system etc

    • +5

      Cheaper at Chemist Warehouse
      https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/123320/oral-b-power-…

They also have 15 x Precision Heads for $32 although I couldn’t find them on their site.

      • 10 for $32 Still works out marginally cheaper as equivalent to $25.60 for 8

        https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/103567/oral-b-power-…

How do the floss action compare to precision? I've only ever used the latter.

        • In store you’ll find 15 for the same price. They’ve bundled 3x 5 packs together. Shame they’re not listed on their site. I’ve not noticed much of a difference between the two; floss action has bristles which protrude further than the standard precisions, supposedly for a “floss” like action.

    • Subscribe and save over? And delivery seems to be february now?

    • OOS from Amazon

    • Recently caught the mydeal offer. 12 for $30. I have to say coming off a long stretch using cheap knock offs on eBay heads the Oral B heads are noticably superior. I won't be going back.
