    Cheapest 600D single lens kit is 546 after trading in an old camera. With that I am quite sure you get the IS version of the lense.

    I got one of these during their last promo about 6 months ago? This is also my first SLR and after understanding the concepts of SLR photography, I'm now finding that this camera is very limiting (both in terms of body and lens).

    My suggestion would be to save a few more $ and get another model.

  If you can get this price matched at JB Hifi they have a $100 discount off any camera with a trade in of any crummy old working or not camera.

  Not sure if it would apply to a price match but could be worth a shot ;)

      i know it has no lens… doesn't matter, you can get the base 18-55 cheap off ebay etc.

      I don't think JB stock non IS lens kit for 1100D however JB is selling 1100D IS single lens klt for $446 after $100 trade in. so if you want IS lens you have to spend $48 more. i have non IS lens kit and still taking beautiful pictutes. as long as your hand shakes are better than says a lawn mower then non IS lens should be fine hahaha

    HN offer is finished. price back to $498 however you can still get 1100D with IS LENS for $446 with any crappy camera trade in at JB.
