Totally get the "fans prices bad. RGB bad" comments haha. The major selling point here is the improvement to cable management. You can effectively run 6 fans with two cables. No seperate cables for RGB/pwm fan headers etc. It's not for everyone, but if trying to clean up cable management in a build, it's an option

Been wanting to upgrade my AIO and fans to the new Link series with Corsair.

A triple 120mm fan kit with link controller at RRP is $159.99 USD. Local retailers like MSY/PLE/UMART etc list around $230 - $250 AUD

Amazon Germany coming through with a deal for $170.17 AUD for the triple QX120 fan kit, with link controller. White colour only. Black is $249, so best to get black from local seller.

    I don't much about the fans themselves but the new series does sound a lot better. Better cable management for sure, maybe better contol? I only had a brief skim. Whether or not that's worth it is up to you. I think Corsair knows that some, maybe even a lot of people will just lap it up though.

  Ive got the QL120s and QL140s.. they are great fans.. but paid way less.. $130 for 3x 120s and $123 for a 2x 140s

    Yep they are the traditional ones with pwm and RGB cables for each fan.

    The qx series are corsairs daisy chain system. Can yun up to 14 devices on one cable
