Found this. Seems like a good recent price drop if you want the white version.

Black is slightly more expensive, with a faster ETA (read below though):

https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CTS93WML

Note, it is supplied by Amazon UK through the Australia site. The delivery ETA for the white limited edition is as of 17/01/2025 the 1st April. However, I spoke to Amazon, and after some effort, they did finally confirm there is indeed stock available to be shipped and it will likely come in a normal time frame for items like this from the U.K. In my experience this has been no longer than 3 weeks, usually about 1.5 weeks.

Update: ETA 27th of January for new shipping method. It's been shipped.

UPDATE 2: ARRIVED 23rd January. Ordered night of 17th. 5-6 DAY DELIVERY! YMMV

Take that as you will.

Bonus:
If you contact support and make some fuss about the time estimate being too long as I did, they may just offer to change the shipping method from the normal to expedited, which normally costs around $32 extra.

  • Only if there were Thunderbold 5 docks to use its higher speeds

  • That SSD is fast, 705 will be slightly ahead of the T700.
I bought the T700 for about that price late December.
Have not been able to max out the T700 so far..
No matter what data I throw at it, it doesn't break a sweat! It might be too good for my new PC Build!
Good deal if you want some speed in your PC!

FYI I put it in a Gen5 slot on my Asus Creator X870E with AMD 9800X3D CPU.

    • +1

Is that using the CPU lanes or Chipset out of interest?

    • I was able to get the T700 1tb for 130, benchmarked it said nice and continued to not notice any difference

  • Shipping time killing this for me as I want to build my new PC before the end of Jan :( great price however!

    • Shipping time is fine. They're just being cautious apparently because of high demand but if they say they have stock it should ship. Check out the black one, as they clearly have a lot more of those and the shipping estimate is way down. As I said mine is expected to come on the 27th of Jan and it seems on track

    Amazingly, it just arrived today!

    • Did you squeal like a girl? I would. Or squeal like an extra girl if you're already a girl

      • Mate, I didn’t just squeal like a girl—I hit notes Mariah Carey would envy. I also threw in some interpretive dance. Full performance.

  • is it easy to remove the heatsink to use with the motherboard's heatsink?

    • Not particularly

    • Apparently it's the glue in the thermal paste, once you pry back the sides that physically clip it in. If I was doing it, after prying back the sides, I would spray a lot of isopropyl alcohol on the contact patch, repeatedly doing so over half an hour or so to have it dissolve all the way through. See if that provides any give. I would also then use a hair dryer to heat it up before attempting to maneuver the heat sink free. Repeat this step as needed.

Go slowly, be patient, bit by bit. If you can get a guitar pick, or similar to work the thermal glue away, that would be the best bet. Even a clable tie could work.

People have done it apparently, but alot have ruined it. I would guess those who ruined it, just used force. I would think, not guarantee, that my approach would work if done patiently and carefully. Treat it as a 1hr job. Not a 15 min.

      • damn…not sure its worth the risk
great price for the drive though
