Any good deals for a laptop for a year 7?
Not sure what they need (tablet? Small and light?), have you been given any requirements by the school? Or is just for home use?
There are some touchscreen acers there but they are very, very old and cheaply made.
I’d rather recommend the Dell Latitude refurbs on eBay - they are a much higher quality build than the low-end Acers.
Consider a Lenovo Yoga 370 or X1. They come with 8th Gen Intel processors (I7 would give the best performance usually). RAM should be 8 GB but can be upgraded to 16 GB (you can do this yourself if comfortable with opening a laptop). They will come with a SSD but you can upgrade this yourself if you need additional storage.
The one I bought recently gives about 5 hours on the battery. It's also touchscreen and has a backlit keyboard.

Any new low-spec laptop will run laps on these.
Search for any n305 laptops, and it will double the speed of these.
You would be nuts to buy anything from these guys. Not only are they way overpriced but their condition scale is seriously fooked. I can post images of what a family member recieved from them if need be and the back and forth emails, the "replacement" etc
