  Just a heads up for people planning to buy this drive for a Macbook, this drive will simply refuse to work. It doesn't matter if you formatted to the HFS, FAT, whatever… it won't be detectable by OSX. The two companies are playing the blame game at the moment (i.e. wasting time, not actually solving the problem) so who knows when it will be supported.

  I've had the 500GB drive for 3-4 months now and have had no issues using it every other day. It's a great lightweight, compact, portable drive which doesn't get too hot & is pretty durable.
