your move cashrewards… (with silly exclusions removed)

    • +1

CR also has 8% to match
      12-6PM

  • What are the exclusions for Shopback?

    • +1

It's there in the description? Basically everything is excluded by the looks of things.

      • Weren't originally listed, but yeah, the usual truck load of things.

  • Can it be stacked with apple education store pricing?

  • $1250 to reach the $100 cap.

  • As long as accessories such as Apple watch bands/bracelets quality for cashback I may have something to grab from Apple store :)

    • If Apple is known for one thing, it’s quality

fat fingers hit the T instead of F last night haha

  • Can i purchase from refurb store?

  • m3 MBP not excluded?

Looks like Cashrewards is the winner here, even if you have Westpac

    • +4

depends on what you are after I believe
eg. a Apple Watch SE $399

      Shopback (with westpac):
      ($399 x 0.85) - ($399 x 0.91 x 10%) - ($399 x 0.91 x 8%) - $80 =
      339.15 - 36.3 - 29 - 80 = $178.7

      Cashrewards:
      ($399 x 0.85) - ($399 x 0.91 x 8%) - $80 =
      339.15 - 29 - 80 = $230.15

      • Ok ye if you are buying items that won't max a cap, but if you are buying a laptop or more… Cashrewards at least is giving you $150

      • Why x0.91?

      • Isn’t the se watch excluded?

        • Is says Apple Watch SE (Previous Model) so I guess it means watch SE gen 1

Gen 2 is the current model

          • @littlesoldier: You can’t buy gen1 can you?
I assumed previous model meant the current one because it was released last year?

            • @Bezoo: My assumption is exclusion list between Shopback and Cashrewards will be very similar
given the exclusion list are provided from Apple that those products they are not paying commission (which means no cashback to customer)

Cashrewards doesn't exclude Apple Watch SE so I would bet Shopback doesn't exclude too

Would be easier if you just list the inclusions. As always Apple sales are a joke, no savings

    • If you laugh — you know, heartily — in the bush, will anyone hear you?

  • If I paid with gift card still eligible for cash back?

  • Looks like Apple Education isn't included?

  • Lots of Exclusions. Do the exclusions apply to Westpac bonus as well. The terms and conds for Westpac could be clearer.

Does the Westpac bonus work with education store?

And are they one use only? Or can use multiple times

    • Do the exclusions apply to Westpac bonus as well.

If you main cashback is void, then so is your Westpac bonus. That is precisely what the word bonus means.

  • Wanting to buy the MB Air 13" M2 base model at $1799 (from normal store, to get the $280 gift card). It seems like SB and CR are close ($150 vs 143.92 respectively) with having to use a Westpac linked card to get the full $150 with SB.

  • It’s weird how apple charges the card.
Eg. AirPod pro. $399. Two transactions on my card . $319 and other one is $80.

I guess they charge it separately for the $80 promotion gift card for some specific reason

  • Thanks @littlesoldier,

Regarding Pro Tip 1, will JB Hi-fi allow me to purchase apple gift cards in-store with TCN cards? It says on TNC website under t&c that "The Card cannot be used towards the purchase of any other gift cards or vouchers at participating merchants.", so not sure if this will cause any issue!

  • Hi everyone,

I follow the links on Shopback Westpac Lounge on the website and it jumps to Apple website.

I then order an iPhone 14.

There is no signal (email, update/ notification) on the Shoback website that suggests cash back was tracked successfully, neither do I see any signs on the Apple website.

Is this normal or is there some issue I need to talk to the customer service team?

The shopback website says it should be tracked in 7 days. Shall I wait for couple of days?

    Thankssss
    Yangqi

    • As per Terms and Conditions, "Cashback will only be tracked 2-3 days after delivery date / pickup date". So i would suggest wait until you recieve the phone and if still not able to see anything couple days later, contact customer service. As right now, they will just ask you to wait
