Probably not. I'd rather go for one of these:
thats just a 4k right @60HZ, as this one had HDMI 2.1 I was thinking I could use it with my PS5 as well. Plus I am after a curved Monitor
I hate anything curved that's under 34". I find it only makes sense for larger ultrawide screens
Ah fair enough. I guess that's your personal preference but unless you're a small person I can't see the purpose in a 27inch curved screen. As I understand it, curved screens were introduced so that as you turn your head to face your screen, it continues to look straight rather than trail off in to the distance.
I guess it's all down to personal preferences, right? So me personally, I'd rather be getting a small TV to hook up with my PS5 rather than a monitor.
I was planning on getting 2 27" curved, that way I can use it for work as well as console Gaming. How big of a difference do you think the refresh rate makes?
@Techguy93: Well it comes down to the type of work you do. Personally, 2 27inch screens wouldn't be enough for me.
As for refresh rate - at 27inches and at 1080p you probably wouldn't notice much difference between 120hz and 240hz. Higher refresh rates are really important for higher resolutions and screen sizes. That is my understanding.
For console gaming, I think your throwing your money away with this screen. I am not sure what your budget is, but I'd be looking at these monitors:

@shreav: if I had to get a 4k, isnt this a better option?

@Techguy93: I would pay the little extra to get the USB C hub. It would be beneficial for me personally. Do you have a laptop that charges using USB C?
@shreav: I have a dock already as I use 2 monitors. I wil be looking at getting 2 to replace current 27"
Depending on your use case, this is a VA panel, so might not be too good for gaming (so I hear)
It's also a 1080p monitor, while not terrible, 27 inch is about as big as you want to go for 1080p (1440p is the sweet spot for 27 inch imo)
Was looking purely for Gaming and I want curved, cant really find too many 240HZ curved with QHD at a decent price
may want to consider my comments @ https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/811006
VA … Into the trash it goes
You think VA blue is bad at 60hz. It isn't any better at 240hz
Dont really see too many curved options without VA though?
27 inch 1080 needs to be 1440
At that price point you want like 165hz 1440p or 24 inch 1080p 240hz
Don't most competitive CS players play at 1080P high refresh?
Unless you are a competitive gamer I'd probably go for a 1440P @144hz.
I have a VA curved 27 inch Samsung ( can't remember the model) and the NZXT Canvas 32 inch monitor both are curved VA panels and are fine. I play Fortnite at around at 144hz and overall the Canvas looks better than the Samsung it's a bit brighter and I prefer the ratio of 32inch @1440p it's similar to a 1080p 24inch monitor. FOV is good when sitting close on a curved monitor
Yeah the brightness of 380 nits is what I liked as well on this one plus the HDMi 2.1
1080p no thanks
Decent deal…lets see if more premium-brand drop their prices also: Black-Friday ?
Test-demo them with YOUR-content @ a store: 1080p vs 1440p, side-by-side daisy-chain…you may-be surprise ?
