Just received my new glasses from Zenni, paid $115 incl. everything, very happy.
How long did it take to get to you? Anything to be aware of? Thanks in advance!
Order to Delivery took 2.5 weeks. Was really easy. Very happy with their service.
Gotten a couple of pairs from Zenni before and very happy.
Anyone tried the transition lenses and have feedback?
Has someone claimed their optical extras from Bupa for Zenni?
Last I checked can't be done as they won't have a provider number
Not as cheap but you can try Clearly instead
Can this be covered by health insurance funds like AHM?
Nope. Requires Australian ABN, provide Australian tax invoice.
Please note - With health fund, I think they need a certified optometrist and item number on the tax invoice in order for you to claim.
What do you need to get glasses from these guys?
Eyes
Eyes are optional, money is mandatory.
It's beneficial (for you) to have a recent script, including pupil distance (pd)., but it's not hard to measure your own pd. Also, a rough idea of your head size for choosing frames. The Zenni app lets you load a photo of yourself, then see what various frames will look like on you. I found that with a bit of effort I was able to buy specs from Zenni that fit better than buying from a walk-in store. For me, lenses are by far the biggest cost, so 30% off lenses is very good, better than the usual 20% off the frame & lenses
Doesn't seem to be site wide. Only applicable to a certain range of lenses.
How to get PD measurement
Optometrists hate him! and they won't give the PD measurement!
