    No love for XXL wearers.

  • Dark blue is $50

    • For XL, purple is about the only one at the posted price

  • Linen. So scratchy, and creases so easily

    • +25

      scratchy? wrong
creases? yes, get a steamer lol
linen is the best material for summer clothing

      • -3

But we're towards the end of summer now…

        • +4

And that's why its on sale

    • Yes, linen is supposed to crease. Want non creasing? Get some PTFE coated cotton.

    • +2

Yeah ironing nightmare and makes you look fat when it crinkles.

The quality of linen varies a lot, I've decided it's not worth buying the cheap thin linen.

    • just picked up my order and it definitely feels very scratchy compare to the one i got from H&M. The H&M one is quite soft, although I have washed that a number of times now so it is not a fair comparison.

Will see if it softens after going through a few washes.

Ok. I prefer less maintenance / ironing / steaming 🤷🏻‍♂️

        • +2

Polo shirts are fine and other low effort button up shirts

          • +1

@G-rig: That's what I do now! So easy and stress free, without the creases

        • No need to iron/steam. Just hang it up after washing. You want that wrinkly worn out look.

          • @r33tom: Yep i dont like ironing too. And i thought i read on this product description that it needs less ironing something like that maybe im wrong

  • Thanks Op, got two. Don’t forget 7% ShopBack + 2% with Westpac / StG

  • if i order online and when picking up at store the size isnt right can i exchange with different size at not paying extra ?

    • You can exchange a product at the original value / have to pay the difference.

If the item was on sale when you purchased it and the item you are trying to exchange for is no longer on sale/different price you pay the difference. EG if you buy an XXXS for $9.90 and try and exchange for, say, an XL for the same product, you get the $9.90 exchange value and have to pay whatever the price of the item is NOW in-store. If instore it's $9.90, brilliant - but expect to pay more if the sale is over / prices were targeted to certain sizes.

30 day window. Exchange in store, can't refund in store - need to return to refund online orders.

wow cant refund in store thats not so good

        • Use click and collect and send it to the store, then you can refund in store.

          • @nekov: correct only if paying by cc i didnt read and paid by paypal:(

            • @McMaferMur: I've always paid paypal and have no problems with refund.

              • @nekov: oh really okay will find out on thursday when collecting if they dont suit

    • the sale is color based, if it doesn’t fit and they have color you can change, but there are limited sizes, got a few in store 2 weeks ago when they had all sizes, now very limited sizes.

  • Which colour looks best?

    • pink! even roger federer wears pink

      • it’s more lilac than pink, looks great for casual.

    • no one will tell you, we dont want to be caught wearing the same colour on the train

  • damn why no pink avail

  • Thanks, grabbed a couple of shirts.

  • -2

Damn, need some work shirts, but linen is gah

  • Are linen shirts acceptable for work? (office, semi-professional workplace)

    • if i am the boss i will say why not

    • Careful. Fashion police might get you 🚨 🚓

    • Tuck it in with sleeves up, why not! I wore Costco one to work last Friday

    • wear linen shirts at work al the time especially with sleeves rolled up so people see my expensive watch.

      • +6

I roll to shoulder so people can see my massive biceps

    • Ok thanks guys… seems like it’s fine.

  • +2

guys, dont pay with paypal or you need to pay shipping fee back if asking refund

    • I click n collect and paid with PayPal. If I want a refund will I need to pay shipping fee?

      • Thata what the chat bot said, return by post only and they will deduct $8 shipping from refund. but someone above said differently…. not sure but too late there is no option to cancel. Lesson learnt hopefully size m is fine for me but i want purple too

  • -6

Doesn't look premium to me. Premium peasant, maybe.

  • Personally I think that you get diminishing returns for anything above 70% European

  • Picked mine up from click n collect. Doesn't feel premium when I wear it. A bit scratchy…not worth the original RRP.

    • does get better after few washes I found

      • From AI:

Linen gets softer with washing because the natural pectin that binds the linen fibers together gradually breaks down with each wash, allowing the fabric to become more pliable and supple over time; essentially, water alone softens linen without the need for added fabric softeners, which can sometimes leave a residue on the fibers.

        • Maybe, but not all linen is the same, go and try on a rodd & gunn or CR and see the difference.

  • instore may have much more (e.g.Chatswood) or none at all (e.g.Hornsby)
