Lycan Gaming Titan Gaming Boom Arm with Pop Filter & Shock Mount $17 (Was $59) + Delivery ($0 C&C/in-Store) @ The Good Guys

60

Seems a pretty decent price if you're in the market to start your own podcast series… I'm not sure who would use this for gaming…

Enjoy the professional setup with the Lycan Gaming Titan Microphone Boom Arm With Pop Filter & Shock Mount. With a 360-flexible gooseneck and an adjustable boom arm, you can be assured that the microphone is at the most precise position. Designed for vocals and acoustic instruments, the microphone is equipped with a pop filter to alleviate any mechanical noise from plosives during recording. Additionally, the shock mount protects the microphone from any contact using the suspensions to avoid even the low-frequency rumble. *Microphone not included

Credit to PH for helping me find this.

Cheap if you only need a mic stand but…..

Can buy the same product from Kmart WITH a microphone for $20 extra - https://www.kmart.com.au/product/professional-gaming-microph…

The Kmart one is just a rebranded Neewer 700 if you're looking for reviews which normally sells for $70 on Amazon.

    • I'm keen on this but I purchased the mirfak mic from Ted's for $25 from a deal on here and the mic is worse than my headphones mic.

Wondering how bad this one is it if it's better than what I have… Guess no one will know

Ive got the Kmart one and its great.

      • The Kmart one is excellent. I've been using mine for a bit over a year now and in terms of quality per $ it's the best value mic you'll get for under ~$140.

Very clear and crisp and so much better than head set mics/alternatives.

        • I think I'm sold then

          • @davidinho: I bought it on a whim after seeing it in Kmart one day and I looked up some youtube reviews.

I was shocked at how good the quality of the audio is for the price.

If you're using it for gaming and have mechanical keyboards, it does pick up a lot of background noise (most mics do e.g. Yeti Blues) however is completely perfect if using with discord built in noise suppression or alternatively run the mic feed through nvidia/radion RTX voice/noise suppression if you want to feed the audio into streaming software or game capture.

  • Shows as $59 for me still?

  • Well that didn't last long…

  • These and kmart arms are good with the cheap kmart ring light for a movable hobby light. For all the gunpla nerds out there.

    • How do you attach the light to the arm?

      • +1

Has the same ball joint connector.

The ring light was on a stand with phone holder.
