    14ms response time……

Yeah and 60hz and not greatest colours. Bad for gaming but probably good price for a large office monitor as FHD ones are often seen at this price range.

This deal was definitely better value:

    • I guess I won't be getting home

    • Shouldn't matter for 60Hz panel no? 1000/60 > 14 so it would behave the same with a shorter response time. Unless that's their best case scenario response time in which case lol.

  • Dont mind large monitors like this for work. Only prob is travelling and trying to vpn into work…..laptop mon shows barely a strip

    • Agree. I'm using 4K and when sharing my screen to other work mate everyone (theirs are FHD at best) complaining can't see anything…

      • Are you able to set windows resolution to 1080p before sharing to fix it?

        • I can but I'm doing work (not just presenting slides) so using 1080 on my monitor isn't good

      • I sometimes do that on purpose.

But I ended up using two 27"s to avoid any issues - if this monitor has multiple inputs you may be able to two screen it like my G9.

Can’t you just share an app window rather than share the full screen?

        • Nope I need full screen because there are multiples apps plus excels to share

          • @CyberMurning: I hear people keep a cheap 1080 24" for this very purpose. Still an absolute headache if you have to do 'work' and not just for presenting

      • That's why you share a specific window instead

    • What happens when you VPN to work with something like this?

I don't want to see products from the brand Kogan on my desktop every day.

  • Might be a silly question but can you have the monitor show 2 different inputs on each half of the screen?

E.g. 1x laptop input on the left and a different laptop on the right.

    • Highly doubt it - usually it's advertised as 'PIP' or 'picture in picture'.

        dell 34" has it.

    • I don't think this allows it but I guess you could use something like taskviewer to mimic this if it's not for gaming.

    • Yes you can. Pip or split half. Just check the monitor has those feature. My 34 Phillips 4k has

      • Got it. Thanks all!

these are lg and samsung panels from an older line of production.

  • 60hz. Nah

  • how far away from this monitor do you have to sit

    • 1.5m is ok

      • I would say 50-70cm is ok for work. Maybe a bit further when gaming.

    • It's the same as two 27 inch monitors side by side. Which is a pretty normal set up these days.

    • I'm using the Samsung one at home and the Kogan older version at work.
Colour quality wise the kogan is average at best. I sit about 60cm from the monitor and both work and game is fine.
I bought the Kogan second hand about 3 years ago and it's still working fine so I'm guessing quality isn't that bad.
