  • Anyone got links for the best bang for buck $900 to $1200 lappy.
Not gaming, Light Graphics on online platforms like Pixlr

    • Do you need a Dedicated GPU?

      • Not really.. more best CPU and Ram value

        • I personally would suggest The Yoga 7. 7725u, 16Gb DDR5, 1TB and OLED. The 2 in 1 may help with your graphic stuff. Price at $1,328.00 + Whatever cashback amount. You could consider going intel, but you'll miss out on that extra performance from the iGPU. https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/p/laptops/yoga/yoga-2-in-1-series/yoga-7-gen-8-(14-inch-amd)/len101y0031

You could wait for the 7840u, but who knows how long and how much.

          • @Alva10: I just returned one of these. Absolutely solid performance with casual gaming and battery life, but there is an easily visible diagonal pattern across the screen. It was really distracting to my eyes. Go for the IPS. I went into a couple of stores and all the Lenovo's with this screen have the same issue.

            • @josethecheap: Yeah, usually the case for OLED + Touch Screen. My Yoga 9i is the same, but I'm kinda immune to it now. Beautiful screen thou, other than that issue.

          • @Alva10: I assume you mean 7735u, Cant see 7725u

            • @Deliver My Food: Yeah, my bad, was a typo.

              • @Alva10: Similar processing spec. I have been watching Officeworks HP Aero for.weeks.to see if I can find better.
Yours recommendation is same.spec with way advanced laptop frame setup.
Do you consider yours is better value for the extra $$$.
I'm after a future proof for about 4 to 5 years ish. Biggest must have is USBC charging
