I am negging based on my personal experience with JW. They had one of these cost price + $1 sales last year and I went hoping to find a toshiba that I had done research on. I went inside to find the price $30 more expensive than some of the retailers that have been selling online through static ice. So i asked him what the sale price was and he went on to tell me that this was the sale price.
Whilst some of their items are quite cheap, I am negging this based on their deceptive practice. If this is truly their cost price, then i suggest them finding a new wholesaler. I believe if they were truly selling at their wholesale price, then they would release the prices as it would be rockbottom low and thus attract heaps of customers.
they are not wrong, it is their purchase price. but you also need to know they also got sales target, if they got certain number then they got rebate from the distributor. some store included this rebate on their sales price

Not too bad but also not too good as I expected.
hmmm by the time i turned up there at 12:30 Sunday. Pretty much walk straight in. Quite a few people instore not many people lining up on the way out.. All the stylus was gone.. All the $2 headphones was gone. Did end up buying some crappy $2 HDMI cable and a 8GB memory stick.
Walk off with a free mousemat, err iphone 4 screen protector and lanyard

Decent price on the Toshiba Touro 1TB ($89).
On the other hand, I'd take their claim of "All laptops and tablets at cost price plus 1 dollar" with a pinch of salt given the lack of advertised prices.
