Not sure if I can eat one and take one away.
Sadly nobody to eat pancake with.

  • can you please mention that it's a groupon in the title

  • +1

Promo code BRANDNEW took $1.99 off the price for me.

    • Couldnt be used for this order it says …

  • +29

What a ripoff. I made this for lunch today and cost about $2

Buttermilk pancakes, fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream drizzled in pure Canadian maple syrup. All from Aldi.

I took a picture to send to Mrs Muzeeb at work who left her lunch at home.

    • +16

Looks like you burnt some of the pancakes?

      • +4

A few seconds too long. Fortunately they didn't taste burnt. The maple possibly masked that 😉

        • +6

You’ve convinced me, that still sounds pretty good.
I’ll swing past your place early before the next sacrifice and you can make us some pancakes and afterwards I’ll give you a ride to JVs.

        • Fortunately they didn't taste burnt. The maple possibly masked that

That's the point of toppings and sauces. To disguise and cover and shortcomings in the taste of what they are put on with sweetness.

      • +2

‘Burnt’ is simply a matter of perception. They just have a bit more colour, and it looks like they have lovely, crispy edges. Well done Muzeeb!

        • that black is burnt. not like it's smoked or

i'd send back if a resto sent this out

    • +12

I agree, $19 for 6 pancakes is about right, $53 is a joke right

      • -2

$19 is still a joke. Or at least a one-liner. I wonder if the people paying that are the same ones blaming boomers for not being able to afford to buy a house.

        • Boomers? You mean Gen X, millennials?

          • @dangerdanger: No, i think they mean blaming boomers who own all the houses.

          • @dangerdanger: LOL. Yeah precisely. ;-D

    • How much was the ingredients? I’m keen but usually don’t like eating pancakes often

    • +3

Are you just figuring out that it’s cheaper to eat at home than going to a restaurant

      • +2

Found out last week. My mind is blown.

    • Dell let's you WFH unsupervised?!

      • +1

Always a webcam from head office watching over me.

  • Does breakfast actually mean we can only redeem it in the morning? What if I get snacky in the arvo? (Genuine question)

  • -1

I bought it at a full price, and it felt a rip off. $10-$12 is what it's worth. I guess this deal was on Groupon for a quite a while now.

    • +10

You paid $53 and just "felt" it was a rip off?

To me that's a bullet to the heart.

      • Don’t worry he got some tender lovin after that so wasn’t all that bad.

    • You must be new to Australia…

  • +2

I have 20% off promo. Pretty good!

    • +4

Yep 16.92 with EXTRA20 code, could be targeted.

      • +1

Yep it's targeted :( I tried it and it says to sign in with the account associated with the promo

  • +7

The price gouging is almost as bad as the Scientology.

  • +1

Decent deal but if you’re going on a Tuesday you already have the $10 chooseday’s with 2 other options (albeit without the regular stack)

  • Do these usually sell out? Wanna get 12 or so in cooperation with the fam but thought it’d be wiser to just get them whenever we’re going instead of buying now and hoping we end up going 😂

    • +1

These wont run out as far as i know but the last day to buy is 30th Nov and the last day to redeem is 15th Dec.

If you do the needful before these dates,no worries i think.

The only time I eat at this dump is for the free birthday pancake. Lately I don’t even bother with that. Last time I had to put a complaint in cos no one bothered to come to the table to serve us.
The Scientologists have been dropping the ball lately.

  • you can get this price without groupon

    • +1

I actually wait for this coupon to be offered by groupon .. Can you please let me know the other way on how to get the price without groupon .. Would be very thankful ..

  • +1

Do they still give you an extra pancake if you tell them Xenu sucks?

    • I’m tipping the job interview at this place involves an e meter and an audit.

  • mention that it's a dine only in the title

    or can we pickup/takeaway ?

    • +1

I think we can use thr voucher to take away ..atleast i did .. But the voucher says dine in ..

  • +1

Lol this company is a joke - if their service is like anything like their Adelaide location. They don't have enough employees or properly trained employees to run this business effectively. Luke warm coffee up to an hour wait for a meal. Look at their reviews. Save your time and anguish and avoid is my opinion.

  • I hate their radio ads. "Let's go to the PPPPancake Parlour" "Why are you talking like that?"…

  • Today I redeemed my Groupon, after scanning the QR code the system only deducted the $19.9 voucher cost from the $56 total invoice and I had to pay the $36 balance. However after I explained to the store manager, he apologised and honoured the offer and even waived the surcharge. (I ordered from the voucher fine print options only). Did you guys have similar experience?

    • +1

I dott think you should be paying anything at the restaurant if you bought this coupon ..you just tell the server or manager that you have a groupon coupon for breakfast for 2 ..

  • +1

Just remember what not to do if looking for a bargain price..
I used the voucher today and purchased additional:
    x1 swiss mountain malt $13.90
    x1 mug cappuccino: 5.90
Was charged $3.97 weekend sur charge, total $23.75, should of checked the prices!
