The iPhones have been doing that for years. My 13PM has at least. It's ridiculous that they haven't solved the heating issue yet they keep putting in faster and hotter processors inside.

Been using 2 years now, still on 90% battery health and I get past 8 hours screen time each day.
Then you've either got a one in a million device or you simply don't play intensive games on your phone lol. I've had the 13PM since launch and it's sitting at 94% battery health for what it's worth.

@Stuj: 90 minutes, 5 disconnections and different reps, an initial offer to refund in gift card credit, and then an offer to refund upon me contacting them again once charge moves off pending.

@Tech5: be careful… they refunded me a difference with "promotion credit" before but never told me that if you use the credit on a product and ended refunded that product, you don't get the credit back! The Amazon CS only told me after and said too bad the credit is gone…
