note, Smart device normally not come with any wifi connection, wifi need much more power than bluetooth, so, For save energy or long lasting stand by, many smart home device will only using zigbee or bluetooth or IR for conectivity, to conver such lowe power signal into WIFI, then you need a middle device " gateway" to help such smart device to covert different signal into WIFI.

I just installed the one I ordered. It replaces one of these that developed a fault with the keypad.
The one in this deal feels more well-made than the eBay one. It has a more solid feel and looks more expensive than the eBay one. The gateway worked fine with the Smart Life app too.
Do note the minimum door thickness though. It's listed as 38-50mm. My generic standard interior door is 34mm so I had to make a shim for it. The eBay lock did not need one.

@Stephen pan I bought it during the deal. Can I pair it with my other existing gateway ? I have Xiomi gateway, the tuya gateway that came with it has been giving error while pairing. After so many tried still unable to add it.
