Switch OLED offers have been pretty sparse recently, but Amazon have the Zelda OLED model down to $499.95 ($2 more than their previous cheapest price according to Camels). Not the greatest price ever but enough to pull the trigger on for me (Got JB to price match for a local pick up).

It's almost like I mentioned that in the OP ¯_(ツ)_/¯ it's been pretty dry for deals in the last 4 months
no idea why they dont sell it for cheaps hahaha unlike other models down to 429
I know right!
Just like freaking BMW, why can't they sell an M3 for the same price as a base model 3 series.
Companies these days, geez
This is a barbie with a new hat.
Hardly base BMW compared to an M3.
It's been sitting at this price for a while now. Hardly earth shattering.
Should at this price with game
$489 delivered via The Gamesmen eBay with code HGTSEP
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334831993264It amazes me that people are still paying this much for a console with Tegra X1 SoC from 2015. If you really want one of these I'd recommend buying second hand instead, or buy a steam deck on sale for not much more.
This is like comparing apple and orange, Switch has quite exclusives thats not exists in Steam deck.
The Steam category is way bigger than Switch. It doesn't even compare.
The Steam deck can play switch games by emulation too.
So can you play Mario kart deluxe emulated on steam deck?
I've been considering buying a switch just to play Mario kart deluxe as I've seen a lot of YouTube videos on it lately. Perhaps a steam deck is a good choice…
@adamiscoolization: Some game play ok, some is good and some is great on switch emulator, you need to google it first.
But can the Steam Deck play Switch games legally?
Wouldn’t you anyways need to own a Switch just to rip the cartridges and dump them as ROMs for the Steam Deck? But can the Steam Deck play Switch games legally?
100% agreed, the reason to buy switch is because of their games.
This thing is literally a redundant system by this time next year and people are still paying full price.
Because of their switch games.
Its been much cheaper before.

You can also get on Facebook Marketplace brand new ones for 400-450 if you really wanted a bargain. There's a few on there now around those prices.
I picked mine up from FB for $420 with full warranty.
