Wow! Not overly familiar with the power supply though.

    • +6

      Hey Chris,

100%, it's definitely not on the same level as name brands but that's how we can keep costs down overall. Each dollar counts, though InWin is a great-value PSU for the price and quality. We have Gigabyte and MSI 750W options available on our site. Most customers actually do upgrade the PSU to a name brand, we want to give you the option to do so but it's completely up to your discretion as every customer is different!

      • That's good to know you can upgrade the PSU if you want. Thank you!

        • +10

Inwin is legit bang for buck. All the PSU tierlists online have the P series rated as B-tier, whereas pretty much all of the other Gold PSUs at the same price point are rated as C-tier. Also has a 5 year warranty.

That said, the MSI A750GF PSU is A-tier, modular and has a 10 year warranty, so if I was paying 2K for a new PC, I'd pay the extra $45 and get that.

  • +2

The 3-year warranty is not too bad…………..

  • +3

These guys are great. Brought the lotus deal and Lawrence answered all my questions very promptly and let me switch parts around at the last minute without any stress.

Very impressed with the service and packaging of the box. Been running great.

    Cheers Lawrence!

    • +5

Haha, I remember you! Definitely a few changes but my job is to work for you and make sure you're happy. Cheers for your order legend!

    • +14

      Hey mate,

Understand where you come from, it's so we can get back to you with the details you provide. Otherwise, we can't call or email you to discuss your needs. I think it's standard practice and more than reasonable to ask for your name and email so we can get back to you. It'd be rude to not address you by your name and I'm really not interested in collecting your data and doing something with bad intent.

Custom PCs are completely custom builds, it's a service where we need to talk about what you require and go over each detail. That's why there's not much information on custom PCs. Our prebuild options under "Gaming PCs" have all the information regarding the PC.

I suggest you put a pseudonym as your name and a disposable email so we can discuss further about your work station. You can fill out the form or use our live chat, I'll be here. Let's work from that :).

    • +7

What a bizzare statement. Literally had to order shoes the other day from Puma and they need those details.

Welcome to 2023 mate, you're going to have to get used to the new order or stay off the internets.

      • +1

I think you're missing his/her point, which is that there's no relationship between having those details and customising a particular PC for pricing.

    • +4

      Luke is that you?

    • Move right on to JB or OW store and buy one of the boxed up workstations. Go on. They are 'good value bargains' there.

  • Damn. Just bought from you recently with quite a bit of back and forth on doing a 4070 ti upgrade and there was no mention of a near future deal. Feels a little disappointed to be honest as you said we were getting the 4070 ti at cost price yet this build comes to about $180 less even with the same upgrade paths (ssd to 1tb, 2tb hdd added).

I understand it's a business but that is disappointing, especially with the purchase only finalising 3 days ago.

    • +2

      Hey Shaun,

Shoot me a message on our live chat, I will try my absolute best to figure something out. The problem is the industry changes so fast with pricing and costs. Sometimes, opportunities arise and we have to take them on, this was very last minute. Three days ago this wasn't planned at all. This 4070 Ti is a different product from the MSI 4070 Ti you purchased, it's less in cost so we can accommodate this deal. The 4070 Ti you purchased with your build really is the cost price with the new stock.

      • Thanks mate, sent through an email 👍

        Edit:

Just want to say Lawrence was fantastic throughout and the computer was built fast and shipped via express. Even allowed for a split payment to confirm the build.

No complaints about the computer itself, it's a beast and I hope these guys continue pumping out deals.

Just thought I'd share that slight disappointment with the outcome - however I obviously understand it's a business and old stock prices vs new aren't equal, nor are the exact components.

        • +1

          Lmfao sit ig

        • +1

I share your sentiments. I too placed an order for the lotus and I would've been happy to pay an extra $300 for the 4070ti and motherboard, I feel a little jipped.

          • +1

@charzy: Yea same, I withhold on getting the TI for an extra $500 on the Lotus deal but if it was $300 extra I wouldve. As Lawrence said he couldn't foresee that either, it is the technology business so what can you do.

Either way I'd definitely recommend Lawrence and his amazing team. They really go above and beyond when it comes to their service, transparency and just chill approach on providing you with the best care out there.

    • +1

Not to be harsh but this is buying tech and running a business. all in all these are all still killer deals.

  • Is there a name synergy discount too?

    • +1

Haha I wish, we keep it fair amongst everyone and keep our prices as low as possible. There's no favouritism, just good prices.

      • Haha, thanks for the discounts team.

  • Possible chance for an ITX build? :)

    • +3

Ah sorry no. The cost really is way too high for us. It will not do well on OzB and I would not be happy with the final price. I need to find a way to bring it down more before I commit to a bulk order.

  • +26

Christ people on Ozb are entitled 😂

  • Does AMD has stock issue or something?
Because it is very rare to see AMD GPU build deals around

    • +1

Yep that’s correct! Very little stock being brought in and they’re much harder to sell despite what people and media say. Discounts on them are also harder for us.

    • I helped ppl build pc for a long time and ngl only less than 5% of them choose AMD GPU even tho its somehow considered cheaper

  • -4

    6 corez = no upvote

  • +4

BPC had the same deal with a better case, 7600 CPU, 850w power supply, 1TB ssd for the same price.

    • +4

Yup! They sure did, I wish I could get those prices again with our Australian dollar. All the new stock pricing has really destroyed us, we've had to make a lot of substitutes above to make this possible. All prices have gone up and if we were to use the exact same parts the price would be blown out. This is the same amongst everyone sadly :(.

  • 7900XT build? Pls.

    • +1

No stock and pricing is not good :(.

  • +1

Get the CPU cooler upgrade. Stock cooler hits 100 easily.

  • +1

CPU Specs listed above are incorrect

    • +2

      Fixed, thanks for that!

  • I purchased from the lotus deal and can't help but feel a little gipped with this deal coming out today (was hoping to get it before Fatrher's day, received on Tuesday but only got around to setting it up today, fatherhood is hard).
I would've gladly paid $300 for an upgrade from 4070 to 4070ti, B620 to B650 and 650 to 750W power supply. The old deal would've cost >$550 for similar upgrades

    • :( I'm really sorry. At the time we had no plan of doing this at all, this seriously came up last minute. We had no stock for B650M-P's and didn't stock the PNY 4070 Ti along with the G.Skill RAM kit a couple of weeks ago. That was the best price and best build we had at the time. There are a few changes we had to make to make this deal happen.

In future, I will try my absolute best to try to prevent this from happening.

      • how would you prevent this from happening again?

didn't you say prices and parts and build change all the time?

        • I can only forecast my absolute best and keep the previous pricing in mind with our customers who have already ordered.

    • please explain what is actual issue?

don't they have right to change their build based on the parts and prices they get when they order new parts for a new build?

      • Yes, of course, you have the right to do that! We can't take back used parts for many reasons including warranty, all parts supplied by us are brand new.

      • I'm not too sure what your question, argument or point you're trying to make. I said nothing about their rights or made remarks of their decision making skills.

I was simply sharing my scenario where if I had held out for a week, this is how much I would've saved in the two scenarios. As this is OZB where the majority of users aim to save money or get the best bang for buck, I cannot help but feel some negativity be it disappointment or unluckiness as a purchaser.

There are other purchasers I feel are in the same boat, some have voiced similar opinions. None of them including myself have made accusations of Nebula regarding their marketing or pricing strategies.

  • +1

Bought the lotus build with 7500F, haven’t got starfield yet, that post said it included starfield, but this one says 7600 and up, did I get scammed?

    • +3

Not at all! That was just a one-off agreement with AMD with us for the previous batch for that deal. I guarantee you will get your Starfield key.

Could you please email me your order number? I'll have them sent off in a batch early this coming week.

  • +1

Tempted to bite the bullet here because the deal looks good to me and I’m looking for a 4070ti build - but also I’m not in a rush for something like this until mid-November. Thoughts yall?

    • +1

I'm looking at Mid dec so also keen to know this due to aud value etc.

      • I was exactly on the same boat and needed the PC in mid Nov. However, just placed the order now considering A$ is not holding very well against US$ and parts prices might go up. Let's see how I go and hope my hedging is in the right direction ;-)

      • +1

I'm in similar position. I would say in general tech parts always go down in price over time and black Friday sell often see good discount. I would say wait if you can. But take it with a grain of salt.

        • @jenesis33: regarding your response to '…I'm in similar position'

4070Ti system: may be list the parts…be-realistic ?

Would you consider 3080Ti / 6800XT with the appropriate-discount for their lower-grunt…1440p Ultra gaming, thanks

  • OZB_BREEZE_SPECIAL discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart

Just messing around and trying to upgrade to a 4090 and higher power psu. Is the code only valid for the stock build?

    • Hey Morien,

It’s valid. Please allow up to 30 seconds for the system to recognise your custom build. It’s valid for all upgrade pathways :).

  • +2

Not very tech savvy but would this run games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield on their highest settings well? Looking for an upgrade but not sure if I would need to fork out more

    • +1

On 1440p, absolutely. It'd smash it. Lots of our customers are playing the two with a 4070.

    • +1

It would, I am using their previous Ozb Lotus deal build, and both games are running fine/smooth AF on the highest setting! Just make sure you get r5 7600 at the bare minimum to be eligible for the Starfield key

  • I wonder if you guys will allow us to mail in our own parts for you guys to assemble into a PC or to substitute some other parts of the system if you don’t offer the upgrade options we want.
For example, what if we want a B650E/X670E motherboard and you don’t have those motherboards available to upgrade to? Could we send you ours to use in our PC build instead of the non-E motherboards?

    • Hi Fujin,

Yes, we can organise some supply only from your end or if we can source it we can also do so. Let me know what you're after and I'll try my best! Could you please send me an email or live chat message and we'll organise what substitutes you'd like?

      Chees!

  • +2

I also bought the lotus deal and I upgraded everything except the Ram and I'm only disappointed in the fact that if I had done this deal with the same upgrades i would have saved a couple of hundred. Considering the dollar is still going down haha. What I am not disappointed in is the PC itself, the build quality is great and it is performing above my expectations. Playing 1440P at ultra (thanks DLSS3) is fan-bloody-tastic! Lawrence's communication is way better than I would expect from a normal PC company.

    • +1

Hear hear! Such irony that you didn't hodl the purchase.
If I had held out it wouldve been roughly $100 mote expensive to upgrade from the 4070 to 4070ti with the same configuration upgrades as my lotus purchase.
Even if you omit the graphics card from base model of both this deal is definitely much cheaper in both cases as it includes the upgraded mobo and PSU by default.

      • I am really sorry gentleman :(, this was seriously last minute. In future, I will try my very very very best to avoid this and forecast better.

  • +1

Mobo MSI PRO A620M-E DDR5 seems out of place. In order to get good R5-7500F performance, a tower-cooler upgrade is needed to cool the CPU. But this mobo has a weak VRM & need a CPU-fan-cooler with blow-on airflows to cool the adjacent-VRM.
    https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-5-7600-non-x/26…
    https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/13ajbwp/msi_fake_…

Mobo MSI PRO B650M-P DDR5 seems ok but the closest review I found was their wifi-version-> https://www.techspot.com/review/2633-amd-b650-motherboards/

    Any thoughts ?

    • Hi ab c,

You're right, the A620 board is really on the lower end and that's why for this 4070 Ti build we're using the B650M-P. Both boards are on the lower end and that's how we can keep the overall cost down. We provide the Mag Mortar B650M as well which has more features and VRMs. I'd definitely recommend at least an AK400 for the CPU to avoid thermal throttling.

      • For buyers who bought the BASE-deal in the link-below, feel free to share your ACTUAL system performance, ie does it deliver the frame in line with any benchmark-FPS published ?
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/794787

Nebula-PC: keep up the good work 👏

      • Hi Nebula PC,

Please consider publishing system temp. of your BASE-deals, being CPU, GPU, VRM (heat-gun?) etc…after you run your stress-tests.

Buyers are making educated-guesses based on their readings/research & would like to be reassured.
Also, it enable buyers to upgrade with confident, eg Mobo A620M-E & CPU-air-cooler will limit the frame generate by R5-7500F CPU.
Some buyers may not upgrade due to budget-limit, at least you've shared the actual system performance (transparency) & it's their fault for cheaping-out.

Also, some recommendations in your listings will be appreciated & so will any benchmark-results, eg 3DMark Time Spy.

You'll be an industry-leader, and further enhance your transparency.

        • Thanks for the suggestion, will keep it in mind!

Though, those kind of numbers will vary from case to case with so many factors like ambient temperature, dust build up overtime and case airflow etc… I would always recommend an air cooler upgrade as the stock one really is very limited in performance. Each build has the stress test with CPU and GPU temperatures with the load at the time saved to your desktop from 3DMark. Each customer can view their results and compare theirs to the average with the exact same specifications. They can also rerun the test for more accurate numbers with their testing environment.

  • Hi! Reading through the comments and it seems like this is able to play all current games at high settings no problem which is awesome and what I'm looking for.

Just wondering if there are any individual parts that are a pretty required upgrade because it looks like on the website you can basically upgrade every single component to a more expensive and presumably better quality part.

I've got no idea which upgrades are "necessary" and what is just a waste, would you mind providing a bit of guidance? Thanks!

    • +1

I would definitely go 7600x and msi mpg power supply.
If wifi is of importance you can upgrade the mobo but it's a substantial price increase…

      • +1

        Thanks Mav!

I'd add add least an aftermarket air cooler like the AK400 as the stock one isn't the best. PSU you can upgrade as well for peace of mind. Everything else really is plug and play, it's made to work with each other! There are some cosmetic stuff if you'd like for example RGB on RAM etc…

        • +3

Would you consider the peerless assassin from thermalright as part of your options. It's a cheap and powerful air cooler!

          • @maverickjohn: They sell direct with Amazon, we'd get no discount sadly to pass on :(.

            • +2

@Nebula PC: Don't need to it would probably perform better than the ak500 for same or less price.

              • +3

@maverickjohn: Let me take a look at it. Thanks for your feedback mate!

                • +2

@Nebula PC: Just checked the only deepcool take over the PA120 is the deepcool ak620 which is significantly pricier.. so I reckon a serious contender for the low price to value proposition. Even if you sell over the $59 a few extra dollars the consumers will still have a better CPU cooler

        • +1

Yeah, I put the AK500 on an earlier Nebula Ryzen/4070ti build and I don’t think the CPU has gone above 65° so far. Running games like FarCry 6 on ultra.

  • Damn, ordered a Lotus deal on Wednesday, wish this one has been active then, the value on the 4070TI is much better here. Wonder if its too late to change?

EDIT: Super impressed with Nebula, managed to sort something out on their live chat, fantastic customer support.

  • This is kind of desktops which would run 4K gaming on 60fps?

    • Hey Neonlight,

It’d be an entry level build to 4k gaming yep! I recommend checking out howmanyfps.com to get a ballpark figure with your specs that you have in mind :).

    • +2

For today’s games, yes but it won’t be for very long - two more years maybe. 12gb of vram is fine for future 2k gaming but not so much 4k. Not to mention the card probably just doesn’t have that capability in raw power regardless. Rtx 4080 and 4090 are capable but kinda stupidly expensive (tbh all the gpus this gen are, 4070ti just has better value). If you wanna get into 4k gaming and ur willing to wait id recommend holding off until early 2025 with the new line of gpus from amd and nividia

  • +1

Hey rep, any chance you'll have some builds coming up with RTX 4080s in them?

    • +1

No good stock availability for that one for us, very little come in every two weeks or so. Super hard to get a good deal on them for us right now and not much demand here. Sorry :(.

      • No worries, just thought I'd check.

Would it be possible to upgrade the GPU in this build with whatever RTX 4080 stock you happen to have on hand?

        • +1

Yes of course! In the GPU section you can upgrade to an MSI 4080 Ventus, we have some on hand :).

  • Hey, weird question, is there any cases that support 4 or 5 HDD's?

    • Hey mate, this is possible. Lancool III supports 4x 3.5" 3.5" HDD's. Let me know if this suits :).

  • I also have a brand new power supply (still plastic wrapped) is that able to be utilised? Cheers!

    • Yep no problem at all, are you local to Sydney? Happy for you to drop it off and we'll take out the cost price of the PSU :).

  • Not related to this specific deal but I bought the last deal (Lotus) and just wanted to vouch for the team at Nebula!

Had the pleasure of communicating with Lawrence after he emailed directly regarding my cart and provided his thoughts on upgrades, alongside holding the build/parts whilst I was exploring build options. Super fast with communicating and very supportive when it comes to their customer enquiries, build arrived in less than a week (Order fulfilled on 11/9, delivered on 14/9) and works a charm. Can't wait to test it out on Starfield :)

  • I bought this deal, the PC got delivered today, and the packaging was excellent. I highly recommend Nebula PC, well done guys.

  • Anyone comment on how quiet this rig is? Want a gaming rig but don’t want it to be audible from downstairs on the other side of the house like my current gaming laptop…

    • Hey Jim,

It's not that loud, if you go for a case with PWM power you can adjust the fan speed. Go for a DeepCool Matrexx50 so you can control the case fan speed. Overall, it's quiet. If you're local you can drop by our workshop in Bankstown to have a look and listen when it's under full load :).

      • Queenslander unfortunately..
seems basically no options for good value custom builders up here. I’m over computer alliance.

        • Ah. Let me know if you have any questions, these desktops have much better airflow and cooling so it won't sound nearly as loud as a compact laptop. They sound like spaceships.

  • Omfg I know a Valorant player when I see one ;)
    Followed your socials!

    • +1

      Hahaha someone finally caught on.

  • Hi Team, I've got my finger on the purchase button, but have a quick question for you please:

if i've got an existing ssd with windows installed that I'd like to use, would it be as easy as plugging it in to the new system and booting from that? Otherwise would you recommend transferring the OS over to the included SSD?

    • Hi Anonally,

Swapping over your SSD with Windows installed can be hit or miss, in some cases it will work fine and in some cases, you might need to reinstall Windows. From my experience, in most cases swapping over the SSD with your files and Windows will work fine. Especially with the new Windows versions now, it's much easier to do that.

Either way, installing Windows on a new SSD is very easy. All you'll need is a USB storage drive and another device to install the Windows media software onto it!

      Any questions, let me know.

      Cheers.

      • Thanks,
Considering the b650m-p has two PCI-E x1 slots, is there a reason why i couldn't add a wifi card into one of those?

        • Yep, so for the micro ATX motherboard, the PCIE slots are close to each other. The 4070 Ti covers the second slot as it's so large. You can access the second slot if you use a 4070 or if you upgrade to an ATX B650 board.

If you need Wi-Fi I suggest upgrading the board to using a USB Wi-Fi dongle.
