          • @Nebula PC: Thank you, the wifi mobo upgrade is enough that i'm going to go for your 3070 build.
Really appreciate your time with this.

            • +1

@anonally: Do you mean 4070? Our 4070 deal is also ripper value!

  • +1

I'm trying to fathom how a $2000 PC doesn't come with WiFi and to upgrade to a Mobo that has it is $180! Ouch.

    • Hey Rimsy, that’s truly the cost difference between the two boards. The second PCIE slot is covered by the GPU as it’s so large. We use mATX boards to keep prices rock bottom for you but it comes at the cost of space at times unfortunately. I strongly suggest you to purchase a USB Wi-Fi dongle for $20-$40 and it’ll do the trick!

  • Hey guys, looking at pullign the trogger tonight on one of your PCs, going to upgrade the CPU (among other things), is there much benefit in the thermal paste upgrade at all?

    • +1

      Hi Tekkrohnz,

In general, no unless you plan on doing overclocking or do very intensive CPU tasks all the time. It's case to case, some people like to upgrade the stock thermal paste as the factory ones aren't too great. They're focussed on more cost-cutting whereas aftermarket thermal paste is focussed more on performance. Aftermarket options are proven to cool your CPU better. Just depends if the small cost to upgrade justifies the performance benefit :).

      • Thanks for that :)

      • Another question sorry, mobo's. Cant seem to find too much difference between the b650 gaming plus wifi, and the b650m other than the obvious (wifi/no wifi, and ATX/mATX), only other difference looks like 2 pcie4.0 vs 1, is this accurate? Being very similar cards if use case is ethernet and only the gfx card and pcie?

        • In that case go with the B650M-P, no need for the Gaming Plus. It's mostly for people that want ATX and Wi-Fi.

  • Will 7500F receive the starfield code though?

    • I don't think it does. I believe in the past there was a special promotion for 7500F to get Starfield, but that is no longer running and the minimum is 7600 I think.

    • +1

For this deal sadly no :(. Our previous one was a one-off agreement with AMD. Only CPUs 7600 and above will be eligible :).

  • Got one! Lawrence was awesome with lightning fast response.

    • I agree, communication has been excellent for me. Even though I am being an annoying customer by continuing to want to tweak and customise things.

  • Can we please have a X670 motherboard option?

Also, I don't like MSI motherboards due to their weird restrictions. For example, my B550M can only use one m.2 SSD, and installing the other M.2 SSD will disable the PCIe slot for wirless WiFi Apator which is super annoying. Even on X670 series, MSI can get the speed of extra m.2 SSDs halved for their own reason, while other brands seem not to have such kind of nuisances

    • Hi Freddies, I can order one in for you. We don't stock this due to pricing, we purchase of other models as they work best for us. I'm not too familiar with that issue, it has never happened to us with a second NVME disabling the Wi-Fi adaptor on the second slot. Otherwise, best to get another brand and we can use it for a build for you.

      • Thanks for your prompt reply. MSI is known to have such kind of weird restrictions, like this one:

        https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550M-MORTAR/Specificati…

I bet avoiding products like this one can save you guys lots of time troubleshooting for future customers

        See: https://imgur.com/a/MJHAPVJ

        1x PCIe 3.0/ 4.0 x16 slot (PCI_E1) 1
        1x PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (PCI_E4), supports x4 mode 2
        2x PCIe 3.0 x1 slots
The supported specification depends on installed processor.
PCI_E4 will be unavailable when an M.2 SSD is installed in the M2_2 slot.

        • Super strange, I suppose in this instance you wouldn't need a PCIE Wi-Fi card as there's onboard Wi-Fi.

Though, this doesn't seem to be a restriction on the B650 series motherboards from MSI? Nothing seems to be listed here - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650M-P/Specification. We've installed countless PCIE Wi-Fi cards with secondary M.2 NVME drives. It could be just an older chipset thing? I think it's not applicable anymore on the newer MSI B650 motherboards. They might've fixed the issue I believe.

Hope that changes your mind on MSI motherboards as that's how we can get you the best price :).

          • @Nebula PC: I checked PSUs and seems like Corsair ones are all gone apart from the 1200W:( I'm checking if 1200W is electricity bill friendly

            • +1

@Freddies: No need for such a high-wattage PSU, even if you get a higher-rated PSU it won't use that much electricity as it's dependent on your parts and load. The higher you go it just means it's rated for 1200W but under load, this kind of build won't use anywhere near there.

We won't be stocking any more Corsair PSUs due to cost, it's not friendly to you guys :(. The best substitute would be MSI/Gigabyte, especially the ATX 3.0 model as it's the latest generation of PSUs now.

            • @Freddies: Actually you might be in luck, I just checked our warehouse I've got a Corsair 750E/850E in stock but it's marked out of stock on our site as we keep extra for buffer room in case of inventory error. Did you want to go ahead with one of them? I will keep them for you and enable the option when you are ready.

              • @Nebula PC: Thank you so much for your reply. But I fear it would took too much effort customising into my ideal build (chassis and AIO don't matter that much), as I don't need a 0.5T SSD (I have 12T SSD atm), and it could be a bit annoying to resell DDR5 RAM sticks.

@Freddies: That is too much effort yes. I highly suggest going with our listed parts for the best possible price for you. The B650M series from MSI doesn't seem to have the issue you mentioned earlier. If you are extremely set on the parts above we can supply maybe a couple to a few parts only.

We can remove the 500GB SSD for you and deduct the cost, you can use your own SSD.

                  • @Nebula PC: The reason I chose X670e is that I want a bit more for the future things like PCIe 5.0, and when we upgrade components, we usually don't replace the motherboard right.

If you are extremely set on the parts above we can supply maybe a couple to a few parts only

Hmm.. how should I put it? I personally want the listed CPU, Motherboard (or equivalent X670e/670 with WiFi), memory, and PSU(ATX 3.0 and platinum). Speaking of chassis and AIO, a white ATX chassis with ease of cabling (i.e. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08M48QY16/ref=ox_sc_ac…) and a no RGB AIO 240mm would make me happy. Gigabye PSUs seemed to have explosion issues previously hence I would just avoid this brand for now.

Idk how much you can make for selling these components, but I don't want to trouble people too much either or make myself sound greedy/too demanding >.<

                    • +1

@Freddies: PM me what components you want from us that we stock and I will sell them to you below the lowest market price :).

Regarding Gigabyte PSUs, they've updated the model so it no longer happens.

MSI PSUs are also fantastic from our experience.

                      • @Nebula PC:

PM me what components you want from us that we stock

Thanks for the offer. Regarding the stock, do you mean all the listed items on the link of this deal? I'm sorry but I'm still a little confused.

                        • @Freddies: No, I mean any item on our website that is listed that we stock we will try our best to get you a good deal.

  • Any chance the MSI case would be back in stock before the month ends?

    • No, we won't be stocking that case anymore as it's very tricky to work on. The back is like spaghetti and slows down our build time a lot. I would highly suggest going with the DeepCool Matrexx50 instead.

  • Is this special coming back anytime soon or is there another deal for 4070 TI coming for black Friday?

    • Yes, keep an eye out. There'll be a few popular builds released for Black Friday.

      • Awesome thanks! Looking forward to seeing those deals

  • Hey @Nebula PC, just wondering if you guys have any of these with a MOBO that supports PCI-e 5.0? Love the build, and would love to support you guys!

    • Can source one for you from MSI, just have to figure out which one first.
